    • How to make Xtra Ores compatible with More Creeps and Weirdos:
    • 1.Go into More Creeps Vx.xx Folder
      2.Go into PUT CONTENTS INTO MINECRAFT FOLDER
      3.Go into mods
      4.Unzip MoreCreepsAndWeirdos.zip
      5.Go into MoreCreepsAndWeirdos folder (that you just unzip'ed)
      6.Go into the armor folder
      7.Copy both zeebraarmor_1.png, and zeebraarmor_2.png
      8.Go into Arkidillo's Xtra Ores [Vx.x]
      9.Go into the Xtra Ores folder inside
      10.Go into the armor folder
      11.Paste the zeebraarmor.png's inside
      12.Install both of them how you normally would
    • All gem graphics are done!
    • All ore graphics (including new ones) are finished!
    • Solcite will be a very light blue, Calcite, a very pale shade of yellow, and DiaIron will be yellow.
    • Xtra Ores will be added into AMCO (Arrg's MineCraft Overhaul)!
    • More graphics designers working on [v3.0]

    ModLoader
    Scot Tools

    General Information:
    ModLoader and Scot tools required
    Adds 10 new Ores,
    9 Storage blocks,
    5 Ingots,
    4 Gem,
    45 New Tools,
    36 New Pieces of Armor,
    1 New Food
    (all tools, armor, and ingots are all crafted normally)

    Installation Information:

    ALWAYS BACKUP YOUR SAVED WORLDS WHEN INSTALLING A NEW MOD!
    YOU HAVE TO MAKE A NEW WORLD OR GO FAR ENOUGH AWAY FROM ALREADY EXPLORED AREAS TO FIND THE NEW ORES!!!!
    This mod is installed like any other minecraft mod.
    Minecraft must be closed during installation.
    Keep in mind that if you have other mods installed Xtra Ores may not be compatible with them and thus it will give you a black screen.

    Windows:

    1.Unzip the mod folder and the folder inside and the ModLoader.zip and Scot tools.zip using an unarchiving tool (WinRaR will work, just google it).
    2.Search for your %appdata% folder
    3.Navigate to your .minecraft folder
    4.Go into your bin folder and right click on minecraft.jar and open it with WinRaR.
    5.Copy everthing from the "Xtra Ores" folder and the "ModLoader" and the "Scot tools V1.01" folder into the minecraft.jar
    6.Hit replace files if it asks you.
    7.DELETE THE META-INF!
    8.Close that up and run minecraft normally.


    Mac:

    1.Unzip the mod folder and the folder inside and the ModLoader.zip and the Scot Tools.zip using archive utility (preinstalled in Snow leopard/Lion).
    2.Open finder and go to your user (the user that you are currently loged in as).
    3.Go to the libraries folder in your user folder.
    4.Go to your application support folder.
    5.Go to minecraft.
    6.Go into your bin folder in minecraft.
    7.Right click on minecraft.jar and open with archive utility, then rename "minecraft.jar" to "old minecraft.jar".
    8.It will create a folder called minecraft, rename this "minecraft.jar" (w/o quotes).
    9.Hit add.
    10.Open the "minecraft.jar" folder and copy everthing in the ModLoader folder into it and all the files in the "Xtra Ores" folder and the "Scot Tools V1.01" into the "minecraft.jar" folder.
    11.DELETE META-INF!
    11.Close that up and run minecraft as usual.

    New blocks:

    Cobalt:

    Very common ore. It is more common than iron, but rarer that dirt, stone, etc.
    The tools that you make with cobalt are faster and more durable than stone, but not as fast and as durable as iron. Stone required to mine it. Tools can mine anything stone can.


    Silver:

    In between iron and diamond in terms of rarity, efficiency (speed) and durability of the tools you can make from it. Iron required to mine it. It can mine anything iron can.


    Vectrite:

    Vectrite is a bit of a special case, it is about half as rare as iron.
    Its speed is remarkable, it can create the fastest tools, but the durability horrible which makes it a little more balanced. Stone required to mine it. It can mine anything stone can.


    Emerald:

    As rare as diamond. The tools and armor it makes outlast diamond, but the defense of the armor and the efficiency of the tools are a bit less than diamond. Iron required to mine it. It can mine anything diamond can.


    Rarium:

    Even rarer than diamond. The durability is longer than any other ore in the game. It is also faster than anything else. It also has the best defence.Diamond required to mine it. It can mine anything diamond can.


    Copper:
    Better than Cobalt but not as good as Iron. Stone required to mine it, it can mine anything stone can.


    Ruby:
    In between Silver and Diamond. It makes great tools but horrible armor. Iron required to mine it. It can mine anything iron can.


    Sapphire:
    As rare as ruby. Makes great armor, but horrible tools. Iron required to mine it. It can mine anything iron can.


    Amethyest:

    As rare as Diamond. Is more durable and faster than diamond, but Amethyest swords do little damage. Iron required to mine it. It can mine anything diamond can.

    Mosseine:
    As rare as diamond. It drops a food that heals five hearts. Stone required to mine.

    I fixed it! At least for me anyway. When you reobfuscate the code, it will also give you the image files, you have to copy those into minecraft.jar where all the .class files are, copy the XXX_1.png and XXX_2.png armor images into the armor folder and it should work!

    I fixed it! At least for me anyway. When you reobfuscate the code, it will also give you the image files, you have to copy those into minecraft.jar where all the .class files are, copy the XXX_1.png and XXX_2.png armor images into the armor folder and it should work!

    I'am pretty sure I put my images in the correct directory, I edited items.png and terrain.png with the new blocks and items I added. I put the new items.png in the gui folder in minecraft.jar and I put terrain.png in minecraft.jar as well. And I put the new armor into the armor folder. Are there any other images I have to add?

    I just finished coding my first MCP minecraft mod. It worked perfectly in the test game in MCP. I re obfuscated the classes, installed ModLoader, installed my own classes, and deleted the META-INF. I installed it like any other mod. But when I run minecraft, it goes to the Mojang screen, stays there for about 10 seconds, flashes the crash screen so quickly you can't read it, and goes to black.

    More detailes:
    I am on a mac
    Everything including ModLoader, MCP, minecraft.jar, are all updated.
    It worked fine in MCP (no errors).
    The mod adds new blocks, items, and armor.

    Yeah! same thing happened to me too. It worked perfectly in the test game. I just tried to install it like a normal mod. I installed ModLoader, deleted the META-INF, and copy and pasted the new class files into minecraft.jar. When you relaunch it, you log in, it goes to the mojang screen, stays there for a long time, flashes the minecraft crash screen, and then it goes black.
