Dinnerbone clarified some things on the Recent updates subforum, thread "New Repair system?", if you guys wanna check that out.
The "anvil" doesn't seem to be influenced by the bookshelves, because the repairing takes levels directly from the player, so it doesn't work like the enchantment table.
Also, the repairing tool works as a upgrading feature as well, which means that you can combine enchantments from the different tools you are repairing, but the level required for it depends on the levels of the enchantments that are in the tools.
Everything I'm saying can be seen on the thread that I mentioned.

Oct 6, 2012Someone wrote that way and it was added to the game.Posted in: Java Edition Support
All you have to do is find the LANG folder inside your Minecraft.jar (using winrar or 7zip), then open the file es_VE.lang and search "workbench", now you rename the spanish translation right next of it.
Save and quit, be happy.
In my jar (I believe it is 1.3.2) it is translated as: workbench.name=Mesa de Trabajo
Oct 5, 2012Uhmm... nice advertising there buddy. Should I bother answering your question if you don't look interested in the answer?Posted in: Future Updates
And I guess this is worth mentioning... the adfly page that you use to download the texture pack contains a malicious IFRAME tag embedded in the html code, according to my trusty anti-virus.
No direct link is provided by the texture pack creator.
Oct 5, 2012I may be wrong, but I guess one must write down every single block id that is used and it's exact relative coordinate according to a "cornerstone" block that must be placed in set biome (in this case, swamps).Posted in: Future Updates
Probably why the huts as simple... they didn't want to make a code excessively complex.
I believe the Jungle Temple is the most complex coded building we have in the game, followed by Desert Pyramids and Village Libraries.

...........Who...said.....ANYTHING....about it having a downside?
I don't know about you, but having my vision screwed by some color changes or sun-blindness is to me having a downside.
Oct 1, 2012Complaint is different from criticism. What you are suggesting is constructive criticism.Posted in: Future Updates
Complaint: simply an expression of discontentment, lamentation of something;
Criticism: a personal evaluation backed by valid and logical reasons, clarifying positive and/or negative aspects of something.
People should always present rational feedback, not complain saying that something suck and that's it.

Sep 26, 2012Lol man... you are imagining that night-vision should be inverted or fancy because you are biased by what we have of night-vision technology nowadays in real life. When you think of night-vision, you imagine infrared one, that's why you feel that it must make what is bright brighter and what is dark somehow glowing, or else it seems just wrong.Posted in: Future Updates
But Minecraft doesn't work on the exact same principles that real life does. The potion does exactly what is must do: gives you VISION in the NIGHT. Not glowing, not ultra-bright surfaces, not sun-blindness (again people are thinking of IRL infrared night-vision).
Sep 24, 2012Thank you for mentioning the tweet on that other thread! I don't have a twitter account to keep track of C148 :/Posted in: Future Updates

What I really want to see, however, is the ability to combine textures, sounds, maps, and eventually mods into a single zip. Unified customization packs.
That would be extremely useful!! And easier for everyone.... just have a single button called "customization packs"!
I've been waiting for months to start my custom adventure map... such thing would be wonderful for map creators.
Sep 22, 2012Nice image Epicness!! Would make more sense if below Texture Packs?Posted in: Future Updates
Sep 22, 2012The feedback so far has been great on the possible implementation.Posted in: Future Updates
