Sounds interesting, but what about after healing them? What will be their use? Or will they just be another alpha human who just wanders around and does nothing at all...?
Other than that, none of them already in the overworld? WIthout the need for going to the nether to see them? No support, sorry... (Unless you change that, of course.)
Huh, running a decently recent build from the GitHub repository, and I'm not having this issue. I can make a pickaxe head just fine. Can you get a screenshot and put a FML log on pastebin for us?
So... uhm...
Yeah, dis mod is cray cray... ._.
After messing around with the Cfg files a bit, I decided to reset them and clean up my world then put them back in to try again...
Turns out after I did it the stone tools began to work normally. ._.""" (I think re-enabling stone tools on tiker's wasn't working for some reason... ._.""")
So... uhm... thanks a lot nonetheless!!! I'm absolutely in love for your mod and I can't wait for you to make it for 1.8!!!! Thanks a lot and many many upvotes to you!!! ^^ /
I'm using the 1.7 version, and I tried both without iguana's tweaks and with it (Re-enabling them through its .cfg file, of course.).
And NOTHINGS HAPPENING STILL ;A;
Doesn't matter if I use stone or cobble stone either, I simply can't make any part... what's happening?!? Help!!! ;A;
EDIT:
Just to make it clear, I can actually craft the tool themselves if I get the stone parts made from cheating, what I CANNOT do is make the actual parts in the Part Builder. Despite the wiki saying I don't need the forge for them. ;~;
What block would we see everywhere then? Then how do we farm? Sheep can't grow back wool. Dirt is literally the most used (but least realized) block in the game... somewhat.
">I think you're mistaking "Dirt" with "Grass" and "Farmland".
(They ARE considered different blocks by the game)
And Sheep don't eat Dirt, they eat grass. (As far as I've seen)
Mob heads. Yes, they ARE useful for making statues. But the amount of work required to obtain them is ridiculous. Even my De-Mobber sword (Diamond sword w/ sharpness III and fire aspect II) hasn't got me a head after 26 repairs!
Seriously, their drop rate needs to be raised.
">That's because there are no drop rates for mob heads. Only mob head you can get without Creative is the Wither Skeleton Head, and you can only get it by killing Wither Skeletons.
I wouldn't say gravel is a pointless block because it has a purpose like someone has said that you can get flint out of it. However it does look horrible and very annoying when mining in caves. To be honest I don't think there a single block or item that is pointless in the game because everything has a purpose for it's own use.
">You might want to know it looks very good in caves and as a replacement/addon for stone since the last retexturing. (You know... for when you run out of Stone/Cobblestone right in the middle of the patching of your latest hole)
If we're talking about survival, and by "pointless" we could mean "monstrous resource-hog with abysmally minimal returns", I'd say the beacon. First, you have to kill the Wither to get a nether star to craft this thing to begin with. Then, beacon + one level of blocks (iron, gold, emerald or diamond) is doable, but the range of whatever effect you get doesn't carry that far. The amount of resources you need for the next levels grows pretty rapidly, and the effects and the radius of the beacon are not that impressive to sacrifice a staggering amount of resources better spent elsewhere.
Maybe the beacon's neat in adventure maps, but I'd say it's definitely not worth it to create in survival.
I have no problem throwing out cobble, since it's renewable -- easily renewable, I have a (fast) smooth-stone generator right outside my base -- but I never throw out dirt or netherrack because, abundant as they may be, they aren't renewable. There is just as much as there is, and when it's gone, it's gone. I don't like to throw out anything I can't get back. Iron blocks and ender pearls? Nah, just put 'em in the trash. Flower pots and lily pads, on the other hand? MY PRECIOUS!! (Actually that's somewhat of an exaggeration...I've never had enough iron blocks to throw out, but I wouldn't feel too bad about losing one or two here and there. I have dumped hundreds upon hundreds of ender pearls into the void, though, just because I didn't want them taking up space in my storage room.)
This is an important point. I've definitely said in the past, "Why am I keeping all this redstone dust?" and, "Why am I keeping all this netherrack?" BAM. Along comes redstone blocks and easy netherbrick. Especially on the netherrack -> netherbrick one, I would've kicked myself repeatedly had I been dumb enough to dump it in the ol' trash disposal.
I probably have a half-chest full of oak saplings that could go, but best way to dispose of those is to plant a new forest.

Making each fist punch differently? Hell no.
No support unless changed.

It's a pretty great mod that adds exactly what you're sugesting... even if a bit different in the methods.

Now that you got the basics, you should check internet tutorials and how to make good/balanced mods. I'm sure you got future if you keep it up.

Yep!
Already tried that too... ;~;
Still can't craft any stone part even with just those two... ;~;

- Burn the woods in your mineshafts
- Play in you newly made Caves.
(I would actually suggest you learned how Minecraft works and tweaked config files, but that would probably be a bad idea.)
