We're having a bit of trouble with lightning storms at the moment... I wouldn't recommend carrying an umbrella around, even if it's raining. People are often shocked to hear such information.
So things are going pretty well for the server at the moment, but we are still (of course) looking for more immigrants. My primary job on the server is management of the city of Savaskires, so I figured "Why not start a photo diary to show the city off to potential players?" My shot for the moment is of the newly renovated waterfront, which now features a new set of stairs up to the capitol building, several new shops, and gratuitous flora to green up the place a bit.

We've recently overcome several plugin malfunctions on the server but things are up and running quite well at the moment. If you'd like a server with great people, helpful administration, and a serious dedication to effective building, we'd love to see you log on! Just be sure to actually log on to the server after you submit an app, because we won't approve you for building rights otherwise!

I've noticed we get many apps without the people ever setting foot in the server. Please take into account the fact that we do not have a whitelist, and you need to actually connect to our server and ask an admin to check your application in order to receive building rights. Thank you.
Thanks to a few plugin updates, the server is running with less lag than ever. Our player max has been upped to 30 and the server is quickly expanding. I'm happy to say that Arcadia's doing great!
New members are always welcome though! Feel free to step in, explore, and even apply for your builder's rights if you think you really would enjoy the server. :smile.gif:
logged on about an hour ago to find my home had been demolished by an admin because he didnt like where i placed it....
In defense of the moderation staff here at Arcadian Conquest, I'd like to point out that kruxx constructed a house very closeby to another player's town without said player's permission. When the player found it, he demolished it himself.
This is justified because kruxx blatantly disregarded one of our rules, which are on our forums (rules link is included in this thread's first post) and only take about 30 seconds to read at maximum:
"7. No building within sight of an OFFICIAL city, unless they give you permission."
Because kruxx failed to comply with the server rules, his building was removed and he threw a hissy fit. Instead of maturely accepting the fact that his crude cabin had been destroyed and learning from his mistakes, he whined and signed off.
Frankly, we would prefer not to have such behavior on our server, so his leaving is nothing short of an improvement. I hope I could clarify the situation for a few of you, and look forward to seeing more new members in Arcadia!
