Yep, feel free to send them a TG about it on NS (Travis isn't active on MCF anymore as far as I know).

Sure, I'll send a regional TG.

    EDIT: Done.

    Quote from GraySharpies

The entire argument of the BSA being discriminating, anti-gay etc. is based on some lines of the scout law,

    On my honor,
    I will do my best,
    to do my duty,
    to god and my country,
    to obey the scout law,
to help other people at all times,
    to keep myself physically strong,
    mentally awake,
morally straight, (Boy scouts are not allowed to be gay)

Yeah no. The Scout handbook does not mention anything about homosexuality when explaining this section of the oath.

    Quote from GraySharpies

and Reverent. Scouts are required to have a religion.

And again no. You are required to be respectful of all religions and their followers. While you cannot be an atheist in the Scouts, this is not a reason why (They even have Buddhist services at certain summer camps)

Speaking as a Boy Scout, this policy against gays is bigoted and discriminatory, and honestly I'm conflicted as to being a member of an organization that condones such discrimination. My own troop doesn't subscribe to it, whatever the head honchos say, so I'm not really worried about it in my own town, however, the national policy honestly sickens me. This sort of crap should have been done away with in the civil rights movement, and yet it still exists.

And even if the oath and law mandated religion and homosexuality, they can be changed. The oath and law are not a reason for a ban, they are a manifestation of it.

posted a message on Korean missle crisis.
    Quote from jairudius

Ok so we can't nuke North Korea because if we did then the people that want to bomb Islam would be like "well 'Merica did how come we can't?"..... What do you think of this?

I'm going to start off by asking how anyone would bomb a religion. I'm going to continue by asking why anyone would want to. I will further ask what relation that has to DPRK's belligerence?

Continuing on that point, why would we bomb the DPRK? To clarify, are you thinking nuclear weapons or traditional bombs? If you're thinking nukes, that's insane. The civilian populace of the DPRK is just as innocent as the American one. If you're thinking traditional bombing, that will just incite further violence and encourage retribution. No matter how much blustering the DPRK is doing, they will not launch an attack against the US without provocation, because, contrary to common belief, their leaders are not insane. If they were actually planning to attack the US, they would not announce their weapon movements and their plans.
    Quote from jairudius

Watch the news if you don't understand..... or look it up on google or something

I'm fairly certain that people are confused not because they don't understand the North Korean missile crisis, but because your post wasn't very clear. Could you clarify your reasoning in the OP?

It is apparent to all sapient participants here that the aforementioned confection is spelled "donut". All refutations against this notion are asininely misinformed, as this spelling is far more concise and succinct, and the other superfluous spelling contains an exorbitant excess of letters.

Great new offsite forums, and elections for Minister of Justice are tomorrow (at least in my time zone)!

Still at 224 nations, not as many as I would have expected left after the zombie apocalypse was over.

The Versutian Federation is at 227 nations! We've grown exponentially because of this invasion, and while many will probably leave, many have expressed interest in becoming permanent residents.

Be aware that the person you're trying to endorse has to be in the WA. For instance, if you want to endorse Astracarn, go here, scroll all the way down, then look for the button that says "Endorse Astracarn". If you can't find it, hit control F, and search for "Endorse". Be aware that you also must be in the WA to endorse people.

Isn't that your job? Or is this an "I need more staff" thing?

It's an "I need more staff" thing. Recruiting is a huge job as you have to send hundreds of telegrams to get just a few conversions. It's not feasible for just one person to do it.

    Quote from Doctapper

Don't want to be a volunteer but on the Telegram before that you mentioned about endorsing the leaders.

How do you endorse the leaders?

Go to their nation's page, scroll down, then hit "Endorse ______"

You have to be in the WA to endorse people, I don't know if you're in it yet.

Unless we turn into the refugee state or something where everyone gives their poor people to us.

From what I know, the Rejected Realms claims that prize through and through. I don't think that'll be a problem.

Considering that there is a consensus here, and a clear majority (2/3 in favor) of expanding outside of MCF, when should we make the call to remove the password?

And in preparation, does our SECSTATE want to start a rough draft of a recruitment telegram that we can send out?

Remove it. We should expand as much as we can, hopefully to become one of the more powerful and influential regions, and it's simply not feasible to do that when everyone has to specifically ask for the password.
