I thought this would be another boring "over 9 billion TNT explosion" video but that was quite epic, I must admit.

Did you actually put every TNT down yourself or did you hack it there btw?

I put down every single block of it by hand. I did use INVedit to acquire the TNT, but after that I just dug deep down starting on one side of the island and then filled the 1x1 hole with TNT, moved forwards another 5 blocks and then did it again. Then id pepper the area in between the two submerged TNT pillars with random TNT. I did this again and again and again until I reached the other side of the island. I must say, lava was a pain to come across underground though, backup saves were the greatest thing ever. Because even if only one block of TNT got lit from some random lava spark/ember, they all were done for.

And tbh I'm not quite sure how my pc didn't crash, I had 0-1 fps for about 10 minutes straight, even when i turned fraps recording off to wait for the chance to start filming again. My pc isn't even the greatest either. And I must say that I was insanely lucky to have landed on that high up ledge during all the explosions. When my fps started to rise again, I looked down completely terrified and amazed at how lucky I was to still be up there lol.

@Zebulan Yeah I especially loved that random waterfall in the middle of the crevice lol. Im kinda glad that they dont flow too much because then the water would cover up everything, but if it was like you said and it only flooded the very bottom then that would be pretty cool to see.

So basically here I was just messing around on my World 3 save where all i do is blow stuff up and then I got an idea. I decided to cut the entire main island in half with a ridiculously huge and deep chain of TNT. Every 5 blocks down the long TNT line, the TNT goes straight down through the earth in order to get deepish like that. I dont know how my computer survived this, but somehow it is still running lol. I estimated around 6000+ TNT were used in this ridiculously long demolition. I tried to speed up the video in parts where it seemed to take too long. The trench just went on forever and it took way to long to trek along it in real time lol.

posted a message on Random causes for tnt to detonate at random times?
This is kinda hard to explain right. I did a ton of searching all over the internet and could not find a thing. Basically, what I have is a TON of tnt on my map in a straight line. Every 5 blocks, the tnt goes straight down to the bedrock like this:
:tnt: :tnt: :tnt: :tnt: :tnt: (the pattern repeats)
:tnt: :soil: :soil: :soil: :soil: (ground level)
    :tnt: :soil: :soil: :soil: :soil:
    :tnt: :stone: :stone: :stone: :stone:
    ................... (50-60 blocks down)
    :opblock: :opblock: :opblock: :opblock: :opblock:

And i have gotten around 225 blocks down the long line, but now at random times I will start hearing explosions going off and a massive fps drop which only means one obvious thing. A piece of tnt detonated. I have a backup save, but I cant seem to figure out what could possibly be causing the tnt somewhere to go off. Especially at such random times. Each time it goes off, it happens at a different time (like sometimes it is in 5 mins, other times its like 30 mins) For the most part i managed to tunnel down to create the deep hole for the tnt without finding caves/caverns earlier. I did hit a few here and there, but they were dark and had no lava (otherwise id block off the lava). It was also on peaceful so there cant be any enemies that would be disrupting things. Ive been trying to tunnel down to locate the problem but so far that only seems to cause the explosions to happen quicker, no matter the spot i come down in. I'm quite baffled at the moment and dont know what to think. Anyone have any ideas? Help would be much appreciated. Btw if I was unclear in anyway just ask for more clarity. I'd be happy to explain.

Also I have found that if I stick to above the surface longer, it prolongs the detonation, but only for a while. It still happens eventually.
