First off, the terraforming for the most part is quite good. The map looks decent, and for most areas has a natural feel to it. The use of erosion tools is very apparent however.
My major issue with the map however, is that this map is way too easy. There are an absurdly low amount of spawners, and your loot distribution is completely imbalanced. Heck, the hardest part of the map was finding the wool monument, which is way too obscured. I did not find it until a fast travel button later on. The loot you hand out seems to have been almost entirely randomized, which can be a good thing if balance is taken into play. However, the fact that I was able to make full iron armor with sharpness swords before I even left the first intersection is absurd. Additionally, your areas are really really small. The fact that I can run from the first intersection to the second in about 30 seconds shows how small the areas really are. Additionally, areas that present very little difficulty (such as infected mushroom) have two wool in them, which makes for two wool gained ridiculously quickly.
The fact is, I completed this map in under an hour and I didn't die once. The map seriously needs to be toned up difficulty wise, and your areas need to be a lot bigger. I apologize for sounding harsh, but you'll need this feedback if you want to continue mapmaking. I have no doubt that you have enormous potential, you clearly know how to design an area. I think what your map lacks is well developed gameplay mechanics, which are essential for a fun experience.

Seriously. If JTR Can't host (hopefully this is not the case) We can just pool some moneys together and get a dedi. It's not that hard. We can rebuild a fanbase by spamming youtube videos, posting pics of the map, and overall just advertising to people we know. If we let the project just scream and cry on the ground then yeah, it's gonna die in a pile of it's own . But if we take action and pick this off the ground, we can do it!

1. What is your Ingame Name?
~Answer Here~
2. What position are you applying for? (Builder, Landscaper, Redstone Engineer. Please note that the title of Gamemaker is earned and you may not apply for it)
~Answer Here~
3. How much experience do you have in the position you are applying for? (Are you good at building structures? Can you use plugins such as worldedit, voxel sniper, etc.? Do you have experience with building redstone traps?)
4. How often do you play MC? Are there any limitations that may prevent you from playing MC at certain times or on certain days?
5. How much time are you willing to dedicate to this project in order to ensure its success?
6. Are you active on the forums a lot? (We often put out notices and updates through the forum. Being active on the forums ensures that you will be up to date on what's happening with the project)

9. If you have any images or videos of things you have built in the past, post the links to them here. If you don't have images or videos, that's ok! But having images or videos will give you a better chance of being accepted.

Meh, it doesn't really need to be like that. The way we did it before was just go somewhere outside the space of the arena and build something relevant. It could be a natural landscape, something with redstone, anything to show off why you should be accepted. No real limits.

Additionally, we don't have to use pressure plates for traps anymore!
Sethbling wrote a filter that allows you to change the properties of mob spawners. If you alter a spawner to spawn villagers with -1 health every tick, you have an instant proximity detector. This means we can make traps that activate just by going near them!

Um, that would mean each diameter would be 1500 blocks long I don't think we want it to be that big, but I could definitely make a more visually appealing map in worldpainter with 1500 blocks of space.

There's a very nifty program called WorldPainter. It's an external minecraft program with the sole purpose of editing terrain. I was thinking that we could have a community vote as to what kind of map we want to see next (read biome/theme). After the vote, we could come up with some ideas for the map, and then elect one person who can skillfully use the program to create our terrain. Then, after the terrain is built, we could put the map up on the server for the rest of us to turn it into a hunger games map. What do you guys think? Additionally, I think our next map should be bigger than 500x500, and should be round instead of square (all possible using worldpainter).
