First of all, sorry if this is not the right section to share this but advancements are still new.
If you've played with Minecraft 1.12, you've all see that Achievements were gone. And advancements are here to replace them. You may also now it's possible to add custom advancements to a world. And we can use them to create a quest-book-like!
I want to share with you few advancement packs you may need. And if you don't need them, you'll love them anyway!

A new tab: Collections!
Are you a compulsive hoarder? Do you like to collect everything? This pack add a new tab for collections. Collect all heads/CDs/colors/... to unlock trophies!
Place a chest somewhere to unlock the tab. Collections are hidden until you do specific action (placing a Jukebox to display the CD collector for example).

A new tab: A Quest For Elytra
And, last but not least, the quest for Elytra. This add a new tab with objectives you have to complete to progress (some advancements are locked/hidden if you don't complete previous steps). You will need to gather some materials, find the best way to land and to take off, complete some more or less funny actions and at the end, get your own pair of elytra.
This pack is mostly for servers or players who do not want to travel 50km in the End to find Elytra.
Note, the craft is expensive and each player can only do it once.
To start the quest, climb a mountain, tame a parrot or kill a dragon (full cost, see the spoiler).

To install them, copy and paste the data folder inside a world save. For the first pack, if you use any other custom advancement that replace the vanilla tree, it may not works.
Have fun!

If you have Optifine/McPatcher, then go to assets>minecraft>mcpatcher>colormap>redstone.png
The redstone.png should be an image that is 1 pixel tall and 16 pixels wide. The RIGHTMOST pixel is power level 15, and every pixel to the left is another increment, 15, 14, 13, 12... 2, 1, and the leftmost pixel is unpowered. I suggest for you to make full power a bright cyan, and unpowered a navy blue.
Hope this helped!

Would there be, in the future, an option to put ctm on liquids? I spent a LOT of time making an animated repeat ctm for water, only to be disappointed it did not work. (and no, it is not a problem with my files, as a test I directed the cam to a nether portal and it worked.)

It would be awesome if this texture pack had support for the SlimeFun Plugin.

I think I know what is happening, and it is because of how grass is rendered by default. You need to add a grass.json to your block states folder. This is the default grass.json:
{
"variants": {
"snowy=false": [
{ "model": "grass_normal" },
{ "model": "grass_normal", "y": 90 },
{ "model": "grass_normal", "y": 180 },
{ "model": "grass_normal", "y": 270 }
],
"snowy=true": { "model": "grass_snowed" }
}
}
As you see, it randomly rotates the top of the grass texture. You need to change it to this:
{
"variants": {
"snowy=false":
{ "model": "grass_normal" },
"snowy=true": { "model": "grass_snowed" }
}
}
This makes it so the top texture of the grass will not rotate, and the rotation overrides connected textures.
Hope this helped!

Lots of people use Mac, including me.

I noticed on the clear GUI that the font is grey, which makes it kinda hard to see. In the lang file, change the text from "Inventory" or something, to "§fInventory." the §f formatting code will make the font white.

Oh okay, I see. Upscaling and filtering the Minecraft textures is not illegal, but distributing them is. (it seems like) OP made no intention of posting the textures, they just wanted to know how to upscale them.

So this pack is dead? That's a shame.. I feel like this could go well with the ItemBound pack that SixFootBlue is working on

Actually, texture packs cannot change loot tables. ItemBound has a loot table, but it goes in the saves folder of your world, and not in the resource packs folder. All ItemBound's loot tables really do is for example, make a creeper drop a piece of leather named "Creeper Hide." The texture pack, which is used in conjunction to the loot tables, will make any piece of leather called creeper hide look like creeper hide. The "Creeper Hide" will still function as leather in crafting recipes, but will not stack with leather. (because of the name nbt value)
