Role-Play Exp.: roleplayed ingame and on forum on runescape, roleplayed on forum at rolplayerguild.
Why Us: the best of the best rest here.
Time You Can Dedicate: if the server's up, ill probably be on.

    IC

    Name: Wind
    Gender: Male
    Age: 26
RP Example: Wind stepped up to the shack and then knocked on the scrap metal sheet three times, four times, and then three times again, the sheet then slid up and Wind smirked, he set down a sackful of caps and said. "Ill take my special request now." The chubby owner of the black market stall nodded, he took a drag on the cigar in his mouth and bent down and reached beneath the counter, he placed the long black rifle on the counter and said. "Its the Ratslayer, just like you were asking about." Wind picked up the rifle, nodding a few times to himself, he then said. "Yeah, this is it. Thanks Slim, ill see you in a couple months."

Looping the rifle over his shoulder, Wind gave a chuckle, he probably wouldn't be seeing Slim in a few month's, he was going to the NCR.

Backstory (1-2 LONG paragraphs): Winds's early life was uneventful he started out as the accidental son of a fiend and a farmhand, the former having used the latter for his own pleasure and then abandoned her the next morning, hegrew up shooting at giant rats that went after the crop, when he finally left for the strip, he became a thief, he stole from chem dealers to sell to other chem dealers and addicts for easy cash. he made enough to afford a rare rifle called the Ratslayer, he then spent every day gathering supplies to repair it to full condition for two months.

In this time he familiarized himself on the usage of traps, conventional or otherwise. in order to keep the Ratslayer safe from other thieving hands. Now he finally prowls the wasteland, searching for an NCR recruiting center, hoping to join them, and finally learn the proper way to use the Ratslayer.

    Full Name: Wind Quicksilver.

Specialization (Scientist, Soldier, Farmer, etc.): Sniper/trap layer.

Will You Be Dedicated: its the NCR, how could i say no?

Why The NCR: things were fine the way before, and they need to go back to being fine again, the NCR will pave the way for that.

Will You Respect Your Fellow Officers and Soldiers: Yep, its treason not to.

Will You Fight Until The End: the end, ammunition runs out, or they are dead.

Accepted! Nice app, Once server is up, and if you are accepted into NCR, I'll see you in boot camp maggot!

Sweet, thank you so much! ^^

No problem, it will be cool to see you on the server when its open. Also, no one can get on server,so you'll have to wait for it to open. Also, have you thought about a faction or are you going to be a wastelander?

Also a question. Does acceptance mean you're whit listed, or are white listers like the A-team of the role play that have a confirmed spot on the server at all times? And if it is the former, how often does the list get updated. And how are you guys keeping track of all the names and people that will have access to the server?

only people who work on server are whitelisted so far, everyone one else is accepted and will be whitelisted once the game is open. It's to prevent people from being able to get on if someone leaks the ip address for the server.

    IC

    Name: Cob Newel
    Gender: Male
    Age: 47
RP Example: [Situation: Legion crossed the river without any NCR noticing. A scouting party came across it though. They head to camp and into the Command Tent. But they didn't bump into it without attention. They may have been followed.]

NCR Scout Leader: *Breathing Heavily* "Sir! Sorry to interrupt, but I need your immediate attention!"

General Koob: "What is it Private?"

NCR Scout Leader: "We came upon a Legion camp not that far just south of here, I think we may have caught their attention on the way. I think we spotted around 6 contacts." *Takes a deep breath*

General Koob: "Thank you for the report Private, take your squad and rest here at camp now. I think they may have followed you."

NCR Scout Leader: "Yes, sir. Thank you, sir."
*NCR Scout Leader leaves the tent*

*General Koob looks nervous and heavily focused....
He walks over to the Comm Officer.*

General Koob: "Comm Officer Jenn. I want you to call one of the Ranger posts nearby to deal with the Legion camp. I'm sure they'll do a great job of cleaning up the place."

    Comm Officer: "Right away, sir."

    Backstory (1-2 LONG paragraphs):

I was born on the year 2270. I grew up in Nelson, it was a safe and friendly place. Small town south of New Vegas. My parents used to be in the NCR. That's where they met and fell in love with each other, they say. Once they got the chance to leave and settle down, they did. They were young, mid 20's. A year later, they had me of course. 7 years later my parents decided to re-enlist with the NCR again to help the fight against Caesar's Legion at Hoover Dam. They left me with one of their long friends here at Nelson, Sam. I was a kid, and oblivious to why they left. All they told me was that they were soldiers and fighting bad people.

Not long after the news had reached Nelson that the battle was over, an NCR messenger had come to Nelson to give Sam a recorded message from my parents at the Dam. He thanked the messenger before he left and returned to his duties. He gave a quick nod and left. Sam returned home and handed me a recording. "Who's it from?", I ask. "It's from your Mom and Dad, lil' guy.", he replied. He hands me the recording and leaves the room so I can be alone. I play the message. I hear my Dad's voice, "Hey there buddy. This is your Dad. Your Mom and I were sorry to have left you alone like that. We wanted to keep you safe by helping out at the Dam to stop the bad guys from coming over there." After he finishes his sentence, I hear someone walking up to the recorder. It's my Mom. "We know you are a strong little guy and can manage without us. We miss you and care for you much, and we know you feel the same about us. That's what keeps us going. We're going to stay over here to help out at the Dam. We're going to be sending regular messages like this, so we can know how you're doing. We love you Cob... stay safe. Goodbye." *end recording*.

A week after the first Battle of Hoover Dam, Sam thought that it was too dangerous living so close to the attacks, so we moved to a nearby place called Novac. I didn't really want to move away. But I was eventually convinced when he told me we would be seeing a huge green dinosaur there named "Dinky". I remember the stories my parents told me about dinosaurs, it was so cool. So we left. I grew up and stayed there for 13 years. I got real bored of the place. There wasn't much excitement. I wanted to fight like my parents did when they were in the NCR, but I also wanted to make riches to live the fast life of New Vegas. I became a wastelander. I remember a guy coming through Novac. Tough cool looking man. He was packing a lot of guns. I wanted to do something like that.

My life as a wastelander wasn't easy. Without it though, I couldn't be as battle hardened and experienced as I am now. But when I was younger, I was more scared of what the dangers that lay within that kind of thing. The rich life and the thought of being like my parents didn't stop me though. So for 10 years I learned how to fight and survive the wasteland. I made a lot of caps and also learned a few things about life from talking to people I met on the way. Getting older made me realize that New Vegas wasn't the best place to live. It was more like the best way to get poor. So I go back on my goals and make new ones. Since I wanted to be like my parents, I decided to stop traveling around and join the NCR. Just like my parents.

So from then to now I have been serving the NCR and proud. I still can't believed I survived though. All those countless skirmishes against the Legion. The blood and the sacrifice. The tears and the pain. How am I still alive? And now we have a new enemy. The Independence. I lost a lot of friends at Camp McCarran. I hope to avenge them one day. And then Hoover Dam. We lost a lot of Morale from those battles. But luckily we were able to retake the Dam. Boosted morale once again. The battles and losses after that showed how strong and tactful the Independence was. I'm afraid of what might happen to the NCR, to all the men and woman serving. But I can't be afraid. I must show my men that we can continue fighting, that we must win for the good of the Mojave.

EDIT: Fixed a timeline mistake and added an RP Example.

    nice, your accepted!

I wanted to fight like my parents did when they were in the NCR, but I also wanted to make riches to live the fast life of New Vegas. I asked around town as to where I can start doing something like that. Someone told me that I could be one of those guards for caravans that always come through. "That's a good idea!", I thought to myself. So when the famous Crimson Caravan came to town, I asked where I can sign up. "You can sign up at our outpost near New Vegas.", he replied. After a few minutes of talking to the trader, he was nice enough to take me along with them since they were heading that way.

My life as a Caravan guard wasn't easy. Without it though, I couldn't be as battle hardened and experienced as I am now. But when I was younger, I was more scared of what the dangers that lay within that job. The rich life and the thought of being like my parents didn't stop me though. Very nice, though the entire Crimson Caravan was destroyed, no one knows how, I really like the backstory, it could almost go for your RP example too, which you will need to be accepted. For example on what to put for that, look at some of the other apps, make a dialogue between you and someone, but otherwise thats it

Fallout Lore aside. It's a pretty cliche thing to see. Since the dawn of television (even earlier than that..through written books and stories told verbally), you have protagonists and anti-heroes, hell even villains, who have lost their parents one way or another. Not to mention most kids these days are either afraid of losing their parents or don't want their parents involved in their lives. So naturally to have a character that has lost one, or both, of his or her parents tends to be a major factor in a lot of roleplay stories.

I even fall victim from time-to-time on having characters that have lost their parents one way or another. Its just how our society is nowadays.

God, I cant wait until the server is open and you can get on, I mean, sheesh, everything you write is well thought out and written, Have you chosen a faction? If not, thats good too, we need some wastelanders
