Open the file for the skycastle and at the top there is a "weight" option, make that a higher number. Also, remove the uniquemindistance line. That should do it.
Also, if you find a spot where you want the castle to be, go to that spot and type /testruin skycastleexactfilename

Ok, so I tested this several times, and I think Humans rarely attack monsters besides wasps, and other bugs. They leave Creepers alone, and I think Zombies also. However, I do hear the occasional explosion, and rotten flesh on the ground, but sometimes they just skip them. I really want the humans to be the serial killers I know :3.
P.S. I think it would be cool if the humans only spawned during the day, and "sleep" at night. And maybe this is too ridiculous, but maybe the uncommon hut or house with some humans inside. Great mod so far though :).

Addition on the fly farm, could you shift+right click to "grab" flies, and turn them into an item, or right click with a new cage item to "put" the fly in it. Then you can carry around a snack for later. You can right click the ground to place the fly or fly in cage.

SUGGESTION TIME:
FLY FARM: Wouldn't it be cool to use rotten flesh to lure flies, and then maybe flowers to breed.
Ender reputation: use something like a... soul? as a gift. or something that may appeal to them.
Bug reputation: since the vanilla spiders were once considered part of the "Evil Queen" and their pretty much just wild spiders. Plus the wasps and beetles so they are not like kill on sight.
Leaders: Probably won't happen, but maybe a leader for each species. If you assassinate the leader of a group, it is automatic war, and will try to kill you at all cost.
A GUI for reps: Would really help who likes you or hates you.

Witch rep: give them spider eyes, or if it is only human stuff, a new item called human eye.
I do get that none may be implemented, or all be implemented, so I won't get mad if (insert un-added suggestion) was not added
