In Game Name: Amosfriend. (AKA Amos, I don't think anyone ever used my full name on PV;R)

Age: 16. May not look it, but I feel it.

What got me interested: On a boon I googled Euth's name, popped up on the new BxB. PV;R was my life for a while, so of course I'm interested in a quasi-reboot. I missed Camel being on at 2 AM, Janet's mega lag base, Cookie and Karate killing each other....man, It's been too long.

Questions: Doesn't look that different than PV;R. Although I (And Null, probably. I shot him the link) can't put as much time on as we used to (Anyone else remember our tower?), I'm up for another go at vanilla. Mmm, Vanilla.

Solo/Group: Either. I've run with teams, lived in towns, had my own omni-base...done it all, quite frankly. Whatever's the most fun is where I'll be.

PvP/NonPvP: Alas, I still belong to the group with antique computers (2005 Laptop, nicknamed "The Cereal Box"). Because of that, PvP often turns into lag-die-lag-die-lag-die. For all intents and purposes, I like my PvP in arenas, where I can chose not to participate.

Leader/Follower: Eh, Good question. I'm happy to be a leader if there's no one else to do it, or if I genuinely have the most experience, but I know how hard it is. You'll find me in the follower category most of the time. (I'm not opposed to being a mod or anything, I just know how flippin' hard it is sometimes. Anyone who has been one will probably agree with me).

Giving/Recieving: Anyone who knew me during PV;R will know how much stone mine and Null's project consumed. I think we were up to a good 10 double chests, if not more...and maybe a third of that was donations. I don't even remember what I put here last time I filled this out...but equality in all things. I won't beg for stuff, won't be giving away my fortune.

About me: I ran with PV;R for a good...what, 6 months? I don't even remember. I was there when the map changed...and at that point I was so burnt out from the tower project being wiped away that I didn't play minecraft for a good 2 months. Since then, I have re-discovered my old passion, and figured I would check you guys out. (Hey, Euth...half the reason I googled your name anyway was to see if you still had the old PV;R map lying around. Null and I have been talking about finishing that project; we poured our soul into it for a good 4 months. If you've got it, or know where I can get it, please tell me.) I like working in stone, mainly. I'm a bit of a mine rat, and I think I'm pretty cool about stuff. Happy to help on anything I can, and hopefully happy to be back with you guys. I really have missed it.

    Ah nice Amos:)
A serious reboot of the server would be nice. Especially since all the new updates.

I would very happy if you could share these link so I could have a look, and upvote Nully's post. I'll have to check with my uncle to see what happens to the server though. He's been talking about giving it away to one of my younger cousins for chirstmas, since she's been showing a lot of interest to Minecraft. It's been a while since he made this request, and since I haven't contacted him again, I am not sure if the request still stands.

    A familiy of minecrafters.. :P

Actually, I dunno if the reddit post was made, due to a lack of appropriate subreddit/redd it to put it. Anyone who wants to repost it anywhere, be my guest. The link is: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/2206222-survey-wanted-mature-minecraft-players/#entry27005188

Put in other places, too! I've run into a player named Pokkett, he seems very interested. Perhaps someone should hit him up.

Hey, all who will read this. I made a post over in the "Looking For" section of the servers, I'm doing a little survey of people perhaps interested in doing a reboot of Omen. Nully's doing one on reddit also.

I'd really like to take a serious look at what it would take to make Omen a legit server again, instead of a small bunch of people who like to build crap occasionally.

Depending on what results we get, I'll relay them over to here.

Hopefully, we can get some new recruits and make the game more fun!

posted a message on Let's Talk About Strongholds
A +1 for you, sir. I like all of these ideas. Make a stronghold more of a dark maze of rooms build long ago to last the ages, rather than a mess of stone stuff underground slopped together messily. The library rooms are impressive enough, why not add other things to make it more interesting? More loot would be nice as well, not necessarily better loot. I think I would find more chests of refuse, broken swords, garbage, and trash thrown away by the original occupants that I do in our current strongholds.

posted a message on Multiplayer Expressions and Named Testificates
Well.....what if I sit there and just spam happy emotes? Might cause lag for some people. I do see the usefulness, however. Testificate names would be.....interesting...I usually find one that I like, trap him in a minecart in a hole, put a fence over it, and he's stuck for life. These ides need some tweaking, but I think they are basically good.

Umm......unbreaking news. We killed one last night. Fishbus, mal, jal, me, and Sontaran did it last night at approx 6:30 PM. Nulls3t can also testify. Sorry to bust it up for ya', but we were first, so amend the paper.

(Would have had a picture, but fishy didn't want to take one.)

posted a message on Note Block Overhaul [Post your ideas here!]
The main thing I use noteblocks for are doorbells. There's nothing like "Ring doorbell to enter", and they expect a 2 note pattern, but instead get a complex multi-chord mess of sounds lasting for a few seconds.....then the door opens.

I like what I see so far, but I had an idea about the volume. I know note blocks aren't very loud, but maybe the number of open blocks around them could contribute to the volume? Or maybe add some kind of echo effect?

posted a message on The "End Chest" suggetion
Oooh, what about this. You can create a double endchest fine, but here's the catch. The Invisible "Signal" linking them, (The interdimensional window has to be linked around by something), will become unstable in a double form. Ergo, you can try to use it, but when you remove an item, there's a chance that it will become lost when you take it out of it's cozy interdimensional box. I would assume it disintegrates and it's particles move back into the natural flow of the earth. To stabilize this connection, you would need to have some kind of "Lode" in the chest, that the dimensional signal can latch on to. Maybe a slot in the chest for such an item? Putting in varying gems/ingots would increase the connection by a little, but adding a nether star would completely stabilize it and make it totally safe.
