What if there was a super enemy? Something to really be feared....
Then I thought of the stalker.
It only appears in dark places (like other enemies) but it never comes to the surface. You will only find it in caves. This beast is 3-4 blocks tall and 2-3 blocks wide. He would be rare to find. You would almost have to search for him. It would be black with red eyes (almost like the spider) and it would take half your health in one hit.

What he drops:
He will drop randomized rare items upon death such as a saddle, gold, diamonds, or obsidian blocks.
How to identify where he is:
Since normal enemies get mossy cobblestone, what about red cobblestone to show that he is near?
Jesus Christ i would hate to turn this game into a buff-me-up game. No falling damage? Underwater breathing? Why dont we add in Dragons and machine guns too? I would like to hear notch's idea of Alchemy instead of someone who wants to make Minecraft into Runescape.

For example: You hit the leaves of the trees and a snake drops out of the leaf block and you need to kill it or it will attack you.
