((Okay guys, sorry but I think this is where I leave you. You can just have Darcie killed by the wolves or something. Good luck everyone, nice rping with you! :D))
Darcie looks up at Soren and then back at the wolves. "Are they here for the baby?" She asks, a bit confused as she watches the other students scrambling away from them in small groups.
Oh my god, they're scattering! What if they get picked off one b- No. No, Darce, don't think of that. We need to get to safety and finally find some way to contact someone.
((I'm a Zonie, so I've got Mountain Time covered))
Darcie wakes to a soft breeze and the noises of some students stirring and talking. For a short moment, she freezes, as if scared to be waking up around lots of people, until she remembers everything and calms down. She sits up and blinks her eyes open, wishing so badly that she'd had a hair-tie to pull her hair back before she'd gone to sleep, as it now has leaves and small tangles in it.
In the middle of combing her fingers through her hair, she scans the crowd of students and realizes that no one has come to get them yet. What? The fire's still kind of burning, too... If we had actually gone through with the field trip, we'd already be home by now. They must know we're missing.
"I think we need to get back to the road," she says to the general area, "Or at least try the bus radio. It's probably trashed, but it's worth it if it'll get someone's attention as to where we are."
Darcie absentmindedly pets the wolf and watches Soren go before looking back at Brian. "You'd have to make an awfully big shelter; look at all these students. Don't you think we should maybe just wait until someone shows up? It shouldn't be too long now... And even if we end up needing to call for help, can't we just try the bus radio?"
She brings her hand up and holds it up flat to the wolf's nose, so that hopefully if it planned to bite her it would be harder to grab its teeth onto one of her fingers. "Hello there, pretty... boy?"
Darcie coughs and waves a hand in front of her face at the billowing smoke, backing up as she does so. Then she looks up at the towering clouds of smoke and nods. "That should do it."
((I just realized, what happened to the bus driver? XD))
"Alright." Darcie goes to where Brian motioned and makes a mark with her foot before going and getting some twigs. Once she has a few handfuls collected she deposits them at the spot and makes a fire there. When it is strong enough to ustain itself she gets rocks and puts them around it in a small circle and sits down next to it, to be sure it doesn't spread or pick up with any wind.
"Should we make smoke signals?" She jokes, thinking of those old western movies she'd seen with cowboys and indians.

I feel like if there were teachers here someone would be taking a head count, but I have no idea how many of us we started off with anyway.
Then she nods at Brian. "Yeah... what were you thinking of naming him?"

Then she glances over at Soren, and decides not to ask, since his expression is not a positive one. She just mumbles, "I'm sorry" to him.

She catches sight of the wolf and says to no one in particular, "What is that doing here?"
