    This thread reminds me of the time the Nazis teamed up with the Soviets to take over Poland.

    I just don't want for you to waste your time, is all.
    I thought that perhaps you didn't see the page.
    The wiki could potentially be the "control" in your study, or something. Or your "accepted values".
    On the topic of minecarts, be sure to test out sloped and curved tracks, as well.

    I love how you've taken the initiative to "spade" out how Minecraft works!
    Keep it up! ;D

    Umm... I hope you realize that the time each item burns for has already been listed on the wiki, do you not? Including the workbenches, logs, etc.: http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Furnace.

    Sorry, but you played this on Peaceful and just killed barn animals.
    I *am* easy to impress with montages, but I really think you could have done this better.
    Now, if this video had a creeper dungeon in it and you went in with only a stone sword and managed to leave the place alive with half a heart left and the spawner broken, I would be singing a *much* different tune.

    Although, I *do* have to admit that the shooting-an-arrow-up-in-the-air-and-killing-the-cow-right-in-front-of-you thing was kinda cool, so I give you props for that. :smile.gif:

    <That, pathetic-otherworld-Shapeshifter (I've smelled your kind before; do not even THINK I will spare you if you turn against me), would be the Blood Baths. Make yourself useful and slay them with plasma or detonators. And you, Mechanical ' Marvel ', I must congratulate you! I have not yet even heard of a robot that is solely armed with ballistic weaponry! [cackles a cruel, hissing laugh]>
    *Don't mock the new arrivals, self! Otherworlders, if you cannot fight, then help with the shelter! We must salvage anything we can from your ship and set up a camp underground as far away from here as possible. The nights on this planet have a terrible habit of creating huge problems for those who are not prepared. Are there any more of you in the depths of the forest? Myself and I must make sure that all of you are together.*
    <AGAIN forcing me to help the unfortunate?! Bah, I shall deal with that later. There's another wave of these abominable monsters behind the bri-iknah trees on your left, Shapeshifter! Flee, fight, or die!!!>

    *I hope that I am correct when assuming that you still have some working weaponry on your ship. That will need to be dismounted and brought to a makeshift underground camp that we will have to set up soon enough to keep everyone safe. Myself and I will stay around to try to eliminate another 50 or so of these Blood Baths, then we will go check on your friends.*
    <HEY! I'm not going on any rescue mission! The otherworlders crashed here, so they have to fend for themselves!>
    *First of all, it's not a rescue mission. It's a ' survival ' mission. If they are just passers-by, we'll escort them to the Kree'kan for a new ship and a ticket out of here. If they are here for other purposes... well, we'll deal with that later. Our fates are tied to theirs at the current moment, and whether we like it or not, we have to get them into a ' safe ' underground shelter for the time being.*

    I spot L20.

    *Otherworlder! Are you with these others? Don't bother with using physical attacks on these creatures; they are rather ineffective, as the whole thing is a mass of living acidic blood. Either explode them, or blast them with plasma, at your leisure. You will find that your metal rod is now incapable of anything; the strength of their acid is unmatched on this planet, at least when it comes to the known species.*
    <ANOTHER STRANGER?! GAAH!!! YOU SHALL ALL PERISH SOON ENOUGH!!! And YOU, my ' kinder half ', stop spouting off millenia of knowledge of our people to strangers that may end up dead before the day is done!>

    As I am still two people, my good half asks TehCalDude: *Soldier, other than your robotic friend here and these nameless minions, do you have anyone else on your team still left in the forest? There is no doubt that this mob of Blood Baths will reach them as well, and they require our protection!*

    <Curses! I hate Blood Baths! %grabs plasma pistol%>
    *Otherworlders! If you have plasma weapons, they can deflect those globs of blood they're throwing at us, or push the Baths themselves against those spiky trees over there! Otherwise, your only hope is to dodge and try hitting them with something explosive!*

    [I assume that you two land]
    I run out of the bush.
    *Hai, guys! Is this your ship?*
    <OTHERWORLDERS, PERPARE TO DIE!!!>

    After having such opposing views, you see me instantly split into two "people": a humanoid lizard and a tall, caucasian woman. My human half attempts to quell and hold back my lizard half, and does so with some difficulty.

    <You FOOL! We had the element of surprise on our side!>
    *How do you know? And besides, remember what I said earlier?
    [to Caldude and MechaMage]: Guys, who are you and why are you here?*

    I finally manage to reach the crash site and promptly begin searching it for signs of life.
    After a short peruse, I start conversing with myself:
    <This is obviously an outsider's shuttle. No Kree'kan hands made this, and everyone knows that Djaalers spontaneously combust on contact with metal. No other lifeforms are intelligent enough to build such machinery on this planet. These outsiders must be killed!>
    *No, we have to help them! That's why we left our post in the first place!*
    <No, we left because we were bored out of our skull. Now shut up and let's go on a killing spree. We haven't had the chance to do that in a looong while %drools%.>
    *%wipes off drool% Oh come on! We should at least try to find them. I guess if they came here with wrong intentions, we'll clear 'em out, but don't just violently rush headlong into this! Remember what mom says?*
    <Clean my toenails?>
    *No, -*
    <Disinfect the holo-pad?>
    *No! I meant-*
    <Kill your father?>
    *NO!! "Clam down, noobcake!", remember?*
    <Nooo, I ' don't ' remember. ' Not. At. All. ' Gullible vagrant...>
    *Sigh. Let's just find them first, 'kay? Then we'll see what we'll do.*
    <Fine, but I get all the loot then. And you carry it home.>
    */facepalm. You do realize that... Nevermind.*

    [On a side-note, Caldude, I didn't draw my character; I made her using this: http://www.ugo.com/games/superhero-generator-heromachine-2-5 ]

    posted a message on what are your thoughts on NPC villages [option maybe?]
    I would personally like to see goblin villages added, like Notch has said that he would.
    I would hope that these goblins have basically the same A.I. as the zombie pigmen do (i.e.: stay in groups and only attack if attacked by the player first).
    And it would be nice if the afore-mentioned slider was implemented for these villages, as I personally think having one village per square kilometer would be nice (just to make it a rare, enjoyable occurence), but perhaps other people would like one village over every hill.

    For the record, I do not support any direct, non-combat interaction with the NPC's. AT ALL. Like many have said before me, it would ruin the atmosphere of the game if this became just another RPG. Sure the goblins could have chests in their home that you could steal from, but no buying/selling of goods whatsoever, please. AND DEFINITELY NO QUESTS!!! That would just break the awesome sandboxy-ness of Minecraft entirely.

    Also, I would love to see buried ruins with new Marble and Marble Column blocks that can be found under sand. Those would be a great find!

    posted a message on Post your house!
    Heh... wow...
    I guess I should build a house, then. I haven't even built a single secure area for myself yet; I just have treasure chests, forges and workbenches scattered around this one cave system I'm squaring away.

    BUT THE IDEAS!!! The are too many and they are not want cooperating!

    Broken gibberish aside, it's high time for me to finally build something...

    (Could I be in this RP? Plz?)

    Bio:
    I am AlterEga, a half-cyborg, half-Skraeling, half-kobold guardian initiate of a nearby temple. I possess knowledge of basic cybernetics and healing powers, as well as advanced sixteen-dimensional vector calculus (which will hopefully end up being irrelevant, as I want to know something advanced and irrelevant, k?). I have rations and spare parts in my backpack. I also have multiple personality disorder, and my Skraeling and kobold halves frequently split up and share my cyborg half whilst arguing (effectively turning me into two 3/4 people), hence my name.

    Oh, and I look like this:

    Since my parents forced me into joining this stupid temple guardianship thing, I wander off in the direction that I heard the explosion and hope to help any survivors that remain, as I know that this planet has an infinite number of unknown dangers lurking in it, only 8,143 of which I am familiar with.
