If Minecraft was looking for a new look, they would look here. Keep up the good work, and have you made the paintings yet?

Thanks guys, and yeah, the paintings in-game (if that's what you mean) are already done.

Good grief you all. This is a no-win situation, and given that pretty much everyone here is biased, this only makes my point more. Opinions will differ, and such is the way of the Universe.

All you are doing is spewing unneeded hatred on people who do not agree with you.

You see, people aren't 'spewing unneeded hatred,' they are expressing their opinion; which is the whole purpose for topics of discussion and forums in general, actually.

What does winning or losing have to do with anything? There are no sides and there is no fight to be won, there are just people posting what they think. And this just in, people posting their opinions opposite your position are not intolerant just because you disagree with them. Criticism is allowed, no matter how afraid some folks may be of it.

I hate to be the guy who double posts, but I just thought I'd update everyone on the version change. It's currently ready to use with 12w07b, and let's hope with 1.2 when it's finally released.

Again, thanks for all the support, and remember to leave a reply in regards to what you think of the changes.

How could ANYONE possibly dislike The Yogscast?? There the reason Minecraft has so many players.

Minecraft made them big, not the other way around.

They have become repetitive, exploiting a juvenile audience instead of catering to their original, most loyal audience; as happens with 90% of commentators or content producers on YouTube. After all, it's easier to make funny sound effects and hash out the same statements/jokes to children who are unaware as to how real entertainment works than to create new and original content or put any form of content creation on hold until originality can be mustered. They don't even make podcasts hardly any more, and the ones they have made recently have been lack-luster. I guess part of it is about keeping the money rolling in as well, which is understandable, but I have become more and more unimpressed with their content recently.

    Also,

    Quote from MagmaTung

    Hi all.

Today I get a message in the game informing me that it is running out of memory.
    As shown here:

    http://i.imgur.com/1PYCY.png

    Now here is the thing.
I have 32 gigs of memory with an i7 2700-k CPU
and a AMD HD-6990 video card along with a SSD drive.

Now I am confused that several times minecraft has been informing me its running out of memory.

    something is seriously wrong here.
because I kno0w its not my memory, because I tested it with (MEMTEST+)

So I really hope a DEV looks into this.
    thanks

From what I can tell, the pack should be compatible with 1.0.

I found version 2.0 on my brother's laptop after neglecting the poor thing for a long time. I thought it looked awesome, but it was too old a version to play. I googled it and was presented with a high-quality 16x pack! Nice job!

Brilliant! I absolutely adore this pack!

    Quote from BrokenEye

It looks good, but I feel that the general feel of the pack is too similar to the default to really stand out.

Thanks for the input folks. I might start working on a new texture pack if I get more time, so be on the lookout for that. (Don't hold your breath, though.)

Disregard this post, everything is resolved.

I truly wish that your FTP and file configuration services weren't so overly elaborate. It all feels very unorganized and much too complicated.

In my past experiences with other server hosting sites, I've noticed that the config files and world files were easily altered without having to use an FTP client. And for the ones that did require an FTP client, it wasn't hard as nails to connect to it.

I have yet to test out how well the connection will perform, but it's looking fair enough.

Also, it's kind of annoying being able to connect to the server, but seeing this:
