I really feel like everyone is overreacting about this whole migration thing. I know Microsoft have done some shady stuff in the past, but remember, Mojang even said that the game would not change at all. Also why wouldn't players want to play on Bedrock? IMO both versions have their flaws and advantages, for me the main advantage of Bedrock is the fact that you can play across platforms, something I would like to have and one of the main reasons why I would like to get Bedrock in the future. Also I can't stand how everyone just immediately assumed we were going to get micro-transactions in Java edition. I feel like people are just paranoid. Another thing, what do you mean by

"which means we can expect bugs, crashes and general disfunctions to occur"

Microsoft isn't changing anything in the actual game, they're changing the way you log in. I'm sorry but I don't agree with anything you've said in this post. I've seen some people claim Microsoft have held their accounts in ransom and other just awful stuff. I really can't believe any of this unless I see solid evidence. This post is all speculation and theorizing and the migration isn't even here yet. I suggest waiting until it actually happens before we actually start theorizing.

A week or two ago, me and my brother decided to start a new survival world, but today when my brother joined the world, his whole inventory was gone. This hasn't happened before on this world, what can I do to get my brothers inventory back?

Watch your weapon cooldown, get some dogs and use potions. For whatever reason, I never see people use potions in combat. Potions of weakness can weaken your enemies, regeneration can help you stay alive, strength lets you hit harder, blindness can confuse or disorientate your enemy, etc. Good luck I would love to hear who wins!

Maybe a grace period that lasts a few seconds to ensure you don't die straight away. Also no Pay to Play stuff. A few years back I remember joining a Survival games server where you could buy special gear for real money. When the game started anyone who bought this stuff would have it straight out of the gate. As you could imagine, this was pretty frustrating. Other than that I think you're fine. I'll make sure to check out your server soon.

I made my skin based around this mod. It sucks to see it's gone.

Thanks for the help guys. I sent an email to Mojang support but it's probably going to take some time until I get a reply. I'll wait a few days but if I don't get a reply, I'll probably just change it.

No, it won't affect anything.

So when the migration happens, I won't miss out on the cape?

I'm not sure if this is the place to post this but please bare with me. I've decided that I want to change my account email, since it uses my dads email but I want to change it to my own email, would this affect anything? I don't want to mess something up and miss out on the special cape. Also, will we get migration instructions in the next few months via email?

I love this idea! It can be really frustrating to be exploring, die a very embarrassing death, and then lose all that sweet sweet experience. I could imagine people making an aquarium with a glowsquid inside acting as an XP bank. You've got my support!

I wouldn't say the fan fish is a bad idea because it's not referencing something. It's a cool idea. Just because it doesn't reference some culture or bit of history doesn't mean it's automatically a bad idea. From what I saw, it's a fish with a fan that would create whirlpools and I'm guessing it would drag down a player to attack them or let the water finish the job. Similar to that giant squid mob they revealed a few years back.

The flutter fly wouldn't regenerate the bees stinger though. It would just make sure they wouldn't die.

I really like this idea. I really like the concept and I think they would be adorable to find out in the flower forest biome. I would also like to see a firefly-like mob in the game and this seems like a great way of implenting one. It would also make the flower forest biome seem more mystical and fairyish (fairyish?). While this may not seem like the most useful mob, I think it's a really nice idea. You've got my support!
