i hate when people link the stupid millenaire mod.... its the stupidest mod i have ever seen, it adds like 500 different villages, and you have to do so much work.
I wish that this disease of linked mods would be removed from the world of the suggestions forum....
Two things:
- I wouldn't count on this being implemented, certainly not anytime soon, it's so much stuff, Mojang would take multiple updates to get this through. I think this is better as a mod
- If this would be implemented, I'm afraid it would turn the game way too much around the NPC's. There would simply be too much good in them to make the actual game interesting. You would spend more time destroying villages you don't like and keeping your villagers alive than actually mining and building.
2 things i have to say to this, i decided it would be a world option for a reason, and if it was implemented it would have to be one of many large updates focused on different parts of the game, say one update dedicated to npcs one to mining, one to mobs, and one to farm, and one to a new dimension. Something like that, it wouldnt just be a large update out of nowhere so that one thing is far more developed than others.
How about this. Once you craft it (Of course, Theres your inventory for your characters armor, There will be a slot next to the torso, Wich could be fit for a quiver or a Sword or such, And once equiped the quiver, 3 slots will be shown next to the LVL Bar, It's be for arrows. If you don't have the Quiver equiped, And you put a sword or a pickaxe on the slot that is next to the torso, Then a sword/pickaxe will apear on your back, And it's item will apear in the Slot(s) next to the LVL Bar to show wich you have on your back, Or Equiped, And a little number on the slot that'll show how many times you can use it, Or Arrow ammo of course.
nice idea, but i think that strays a little to far from my suggestion, you should go make your own suggestion for the back slot, it would get alot of attention, and you could add capes in also
i really like your idea!
Why not when it's in hand, when you right click a new GUI opens up with say about 5 slots only for arrows to be stored in, so instead of having 5 stacks of arrow in your inventory, you have 1 quiver with 5 arrow stacks in that. This way you have to switch to your quiver to check the level of arrows in it
So, my suggestion is: Two new potions, one increases your size and one shrinks you
This would require giants to be re-implemented though, and they would most likely need to spawn very very rarely in the extreme hills biome.
Now onto the potions...
The Potion of giants would require you to go and collect some giants hair, and The potion of shrinking would require you to collect silverfish tongues.
When you drink the potion of giants, you grow to the size of 3 blocks tall and can jump over a two block height.
When you drink the potion of shrinking, you shrink to the size of one block and can only jump onto half slabs.
Now, we all know the quiver just never really wouldve worked...
But i can solve all our problems.
The quiver would be a new type of armor. It wouldnt give any armor points.
You build it like this
When you equip it 3 new slots would pop up below it (on the right side of your character in the inventory screen)
In these 3 slots you can put arrows.
Sure its nice to have extra inventory space.... BUT.... *drumroll* The number of arrows in your quiver would be shown to the left or right of your inventory bar (there would be an option for which side)

Um, when i looked at the concept pictures i thought it all looks nice, except the brewing stand, those should require you to go to the nether and build it, not get it from a witch hut, also the walls look very ncie and fit well, but the house should be rickity wooden and on stilits... but thats just my idea of what a witches house would look like.
sounds nice, a few more ambient mobs would be nice, but these dont fit the "pretty scary" theme for the halloween update, maybe bunnies and birds for the christmas update.
Is it a cool idea? Very. Will it ever happen? Probably not. This would require a very powerful server and a complete overhaul to the game to accommodate all the different aspects of this idea. By the end of it it wouldn't be anything like the original game.
agree fully, its probably not going to happen, if anything you would just be able to find a really big server, but chances of one thats running 24/7 and never shuts down is very very slim
Off topic: Badprenup, why does it say your retired staff.... i miss the days when you would give me infractions for doing stupid things.

Bat Eye
Bat Ear
Bat eyes replace carrots in the Carrot + fermented spider eye for blindness potions
Bat ears replace Golden carrots in the night vision potions.
Maybe you could only get the drop from hostile bats, and those would already be rarish?

no
no, we dont need to use an image for when we have more than one arrow, where would the quiver come from??
