posted a message on I think an Iron golem attacked a creeper?

I'm not sure about 1.7.10, but I know I know iron golems don't attack creepers in 1.8.7. Maybe it was close enough to you under the cave to detonate?

EDIT: I looked at Minecraft 1.7.10's source code in the Forge development workspace, and I don't see anything telling iron golems not to kill creepers right off hand, but the code probably exists. It might just be hard to find.

posted a message on Clownfish {Useless No More!}: Loved By Ocelots, Bane Of Guardians!

You can't brew water breathing with clownfish, only pufferfishes.

On Topic: These two ideas are really creative, unique, and sounds pretty useful. I do agree the Ocelot taming needs a bit of balancing though. Either change it from 'instant' to 'high chance', or maybe make it so it's an instant chance, but Ocelots would still run away from you liek they normally do.
    Anyway, Support.

Oh yeah. :P Even though I read "clowfish", I was thinking of "pufferfish" in my mind for some reason.

posted a message on Clownfish {Useless No More!}: Loved By Ocelots, Bane Of Guardians!

Honestly, with the low fishing rate for clownfishes, I'd much rather spend one on 3 Water Breathing potions to breathe in an Ocean Monument then to hurt a Guardian or two.

Partial Support. (I support the Ocelot part, but not the Guardian part. Along with what I said about it in my above sentence, I think it seems kind of silly and random to be honest.)

posted a message on Lava Rain (Nether rain effects.)

I think it could be kinda interesting, (the idea itself is very creative and unique), but I'm not sure if I like how this would affect the Nether. So for now, Partial Support.

posted a message on ¿Chunk withoud diamonds?
    Quote from TheMasterCaver»
Even in a chunk with solid stone there is no guarantee that there will be any diamonds; the game actually tries to place some ore in the void, since veins only generate below their starting y-coordinate (which ranges from 0-15). In fact, the 25% decrease in diamond per chunk back in Beta 1.8 was due to a change that lead to veins of ore generating below their starting position instead of above; they did not appear to actually change the range (0-16 but due to how the RNG works inputting a range of 16 gives an output of 0-15). This is also why there is less ore above y=12 since there are less veins coming down from higher layers.

This also means that the average vein of diamond is larger than about 3 ore; assuming no obstructions at all there are an average of 5.67 ore per vein (in 1.8; I found about 3.7 ore per chunk, more than what the Wiki says (3.1), based on older data due to changes to ore generation; this means that about a third of all diamond fails to generate; lapis should also be rarer but is actually slightly more common because most of it generates above the bedrock layer with only about 1/6 of it being lost).
Very interesting. I thought only gravel/dirt could override ores.

posted a message on What's your in-game time for your favorite world/server?

After looking at the time that I have spent in my Realm (It is 5-6 months old, and I have logged 13.77 days on it), and the amount of time I have spent on my favorite server (10.7 days, probably over a time period of about a year), I was a little freaked out. That seems like a lot of time to me. But is it? I was wondering. That's why I made this post: to see how much time everyone has spent on their favorite servers/worlds in comparison with mine. (If you have more than 1 favorite world/sever, please add both of their times together. Mine would be 24.47 days, since 13.77 + 10.7 equals that.)

    Thanks for your time!* ;)

    *Sorry, I just had to.

I have a small auto farm for every crop in my main base. I also have a collection of cities that I've build up that each specialize in a different foodstuff (those farms aren't auto though)

I once build a huge gold farm on a server I used to play on.

At the moment, I'm working on a prismarine farm on my single player survival world.

Walls being build around the monument.

    Removing the water

    Dry as a bone!

    Now to dismantle the building:

I've made a bit more progress on it, but these are my most recent screenshots. The monument is now completely gone & have the hopper-filter completed. I still have to build the actual farm though.

Wow! That prismarine farm looks amazing so far! How long has it taken you to do all of that? I might make one myself.

    They all look really good!

How did you get the villagers up to the top Iron farm? I made mine with one layer but would like to expand it. I originally maved them with a mine cart, but think it would be hard to get them that high using carts.

Thanks! I actually scrapped that iron farm, and replaced it with a much better one if you'd like to see. It's one post above yours. :)

(I'm not going to answer your question because rodabon did that for me.)
