    so here is what I did:

    loaded ModLoader - tested ok
    loaded MoDloaderMP - tested ok
    loaded IndustrialCraft - tested ok
    loaded Shelf, More Stackables, FloodGate - tested ok
    loaded BuildCaft (all four packages) - tested ok

    New I was about to run out of sprites from MC 1.5 with the above and MagicChest experience

    loaded MC Extended - not working

    It starts and then after login it just hangs on the black load screen forever

    It could be an id conflict, Magic Chest default is 255, no clue what IDs buildcraft is using these days (though latest notes says it uses no terrain sprites *boggles*).
    You can run from the command prompt to catch the error log.

    To everybody having trouble with selling wool, just go to millenaire/buildingplans/villages and open up the txt file for the village you have. Add :

    Sounds like you have an agricole village so you should edit:
    .minecraft/millenaire/villages/agricole.txt

    But I think at the very end it should just be:

    add that down there with the other imports and hopefully it'll work.

    If the miner has a wife she should get wood from the town hall and turn it into planks and fill the furnaces with that.
    Dunno if this got broken in the latest patch.

    [I know in one of my saves the hamlet had 2 miners, I think I screwed one up by messing with his diggy hole. The other had the duplication bug so there were about 6 miners there all digging... problem was the one that kept bugging out and resetting himself had a wife, the others didn't so... they had tons of resources and the other (that rarely dug anything) always had furnaces packed with planks]

    A lot of the CPU issues is due to bad npc pathing (I try to make the terrain more passable for them) but some people have reported high CPU usage since 1.6 came out (like it worked fine before that). Also I'm not sure if there is still the bug where villages won't become inactive when you get far away from them. So if you're on a world with a lot of explored villagers, you may have CPU issues.

    The new config setting defaults to not spawning villages.
    change the line in .minecraft/millenaire/config.txt to
    generate_villages=true

    Then you unzip the millenaire zip, drop the [millenaire] folder from it into .minecraft folder
    [I deleted the old millenaire folder first to prevent possible problems from old versions]
    drop the millenaire0.7.1.zip that was extracted into the .minecraft\mods folder.
    And that's it... Millenaire works.
    [If it doesn't work after that, (and blackscreens) it's probably an ID conflict.]

    I think you'd have to take it up with connected textures mod creator. Or you mean completely overrides like.. the magic chests become purple cubes? (cos I know there's a config option in Magic Chest to disable the magic chest custom texture [but I think it's mostly for when you're running a HD texture pack *shrugs*], but should make them look like normal chests... if your custom texture mod isn't doing that already.

    Well, they instantly respawn if you do, so it's not exactly like killing.

    And I may have set fire to an entire family when dealing with the NPC duplication thing (I couldn't get to the other father because they all kept pushing me around so I was just like "Taste firey death!") it was pretty funny cos they kept respawning, and catching on fire... good times.

    Can anyone help me out here, I've got a Gros Bourg with 3 hamlets on seed b. I think only one of the hamlets will trade with me, all the others act like I don't exist even when I jump up and down on their town chest. Wtf is wrong? It works fine on my other save. And is there a way to fix this?

    Edit: Just ran it from cmd, no errors at all. Also the town maps display a little funny (like not showing all the buildings), on that save...

    Did you install ModLoader?
    Cos it's either that or you didn't install Millenaire properly. (It should at least come up with text saying something along the lines of: "Press 'v' to locate nearby villages")

    Actually you can, it just empties the chest itself, not the quantum chest that's currently loaded (which I think it would do before) so it's a bid odd. Probably a strange side effect of channels. But who cares; channels!! :smile.gif:

    Could be a bunch of things that cause that (from anti-virus software to firewall to adblock/noscript). [Though I did those a bit out of order]
    1) If you're running adblock or noscript temporarily allow mediafire.com.
    2) Temporarily snooze/disable firewall.
    3) Temporarily snooze/disable anti-virus.

    If none of the above solves... check your internet connection? Or try completely disabling(temporarily) adblock/noscript / any other browser add-on that does crazy security stuff. Or try with another browser (if you're using Firefox, try with Internet Explorer).

    Really shouldn't be a problem it's probably something silly. Most likely culprits are adblock/noscript and/or CA personal firewall (CA sucks :tongue.gif:)

    I had something similar happen with the merchant. I think it was in an industrial hamlet. (the one that makes woodcutters + miners). I think they were doing the final update (434 cobble required) had about 200 or so, I sold them a bunch of stacks, but I missed the limit by about 6-9, then the merchant instantly grabbed 1/2 of the cobblestone and I was like "wtf". (when I went to grab 1/2 a stack from a nearby chest)

    But right after that it said project completed and no more building plans so it seems like the village is all upgraded anyway. [So maybe the merchant knew it was already done]
