    Ok, since so many people are having issues. I'll list what I did (which worked for me).
    [*insert random note about how making backups of important stuff is good* - Particularly the [saves] folder and a clean 1.6.4 minecraft.jar (I forgot to make a backup of the clean .jar myself, oh well 1.6.5 will be here soon enough).]

    Download Modloader 1.6.4
    Download Millénaire 0.6.4

    -Update Minecraft to 1.6.4
    -(optional) Backup any custom building plans you may have.
    -Delete millenaire0.6.3c.zip (or whichever version of Millénaire you were running in 1.5_01) [located in .minecraft/mods folder)
    -Delete Millénaire folder [from .minecraft folder]

    Install Modloader as per usual.
    -Open .minecraft/bin/minecraft.jar with Winrar or 7zip.
    -Drag + drop files from modloader.zip into .jar
    -Delete META-INF folder from minecraft.jar (then close Winrar/7zip)

    Install Millénaire:
    Place [millenaire] folder in .minecraft folder.
    Place millenaire0.6.4.zip in .minecraft/mods folder. -Note:
    Not the one you downloaded, the one located in Mille¦ünaire 0.6.4\put in mods folder\ from the .zip you downloaded (that shares the same name). -confusion
    (optional) Replace custom building plans you may have.


    Run Minecraft?

    Sounds like improperly installed mod. Or it could be ModLoader isn't loading all of it.

    Seems to be a few people having problems with the 1.6.4 version of this mod..

    It seems like it can't find the sprite for parchment.

    or it could be a mod that modifies the tc.class or p.class but I doubt that would be a problem... (though tc.class might be for texture packs, so if you have one of those. That might be what's causing the problem) *shrugs*

    Unfortunately it looks like there is a compatibility issue between ModLoader and the HD Patcher in 1.6.4. I have the same problem when trying to run Millénaire with an HD texture. I hope either of the two tools can be updated to prevent that.

    Sorry, wasn't trying to insult you. With just a black screen that was the first thing that jumped to mind (since updating to 1.6.4 would cause META-INF to show up... and even the best of us can forgets to delete it)

    Did you install Millénaire properly? Cos I think 1 is a folder (named [Millenaire]) and the other is a .zip file.
    [Or at least that's how it was before, still waiting on adfly to get the new version to look]

    --And that was an amazingly fast update, grats Kinniken. I guess I can forgive the stuff being in french bit...

    Sounds like some of the villages are copying themselves (which is odd). I haven't had anything like that happen to me yet [but I've yet to use 0.6.3c]. Used to happen to me with MineColony though, where lumberjacks used to disappear/reappear and sometimes spawn multiple ones to the same chest.

    Nope, just updated this one and ran out of sprites. /cry

    No worries I can fix it, it's just odd cos according to modloader when I run it from the command prompt that I have exactly 0 item sprites left. [I wonder how many in total there are]
    [But as I mentioned it says 108 left for each of the Millenaire ones when it loads them, so technically it'd almost seem like I'd be over by 22-23 if that were the case. Not just 1-2]

    Ironically, it loads Millenaire first, and as it's loading .... 23 item sprites... the whole time it's going 108 left...

    Only 2 item sprites were added recently, right?

    Instead of getting a mini-dictionary, how about you try the parchments sold in the Town centres for 10 denier or the complete one for 1 denier argent? They're essentially translation guides for everything in the mod, from the buildings to the items and the villagers themselves. And not only will they give you a translation, they also have a small flavour text telling you something about it, too :smile.gif:


    The parchments are the "things" I mentioned that they sell (forgot what they were called) also referred to them as a "mini-dictionary" :tongue.gif: [Maybe eventually I'll remember all the french names but currently it's a bit of a pain to have to check the parchment every time the villagers go to make a new building type that I'm unfamiliar with. Or when I go to look at all the villagers list and go "they're a what?" *checks parchment* "Oh, farmer, right."]

    Edit: And wow, MCP got updated fast. (Usually it takes about a week or so. Maybe obfuscation didn't change this time.) Then again it sounds like there's going to be a 1.6.5 update so... yeah

    Yeah one of the nice things is it doesn't add any new blocks, but it'd probably be better/easier/(and possibly insane) if it did.

    Not sure if you can re-use generic MC sprites, but it'd be neat if you could cos then it'd still add no terrain sprites. A workbench top with a dispenser side (not sure for the other 3 sides/bottom) 1 crafting recipe (which would probably be a workbench + dispenser).
    Then you wouldn't even need the "store-on-collision: dispenser" (though having store on chest, or at least for the chests next to the workbench; would probably be a good thing... though I have Magic Chest for that) ....
    Would make systems a lot more easier/fewer chests/less space/more insanity :smile.gif:
    [My reeds -> paper -> books -> bookshelves could be done with 1 chest with 3 auto-workbench/dispenser units next to it (pointing at the chest).]
