This thread has been so amusing to read. I am amazed at how many pathetic people are out there.
FC has no reason to make this part of the yogbox. He will not benefit from it in any way, a great mod gets its own attention. Also I feel he would get less credit than he deserves if it was part of the yogbox, sure his name will be mentioned but no one will come to the thread and say thanks.
Also from what I've gathered its possible to use this and yogbox together, so stop being spoilt children and go install it yourself. FC has put in so much more effort than all of you. The least you can do is take time to figure out how to install it. Its not like he hasn't provided with you instructions, videos and there is a giant thread here of workarounds.
I am a fan of the yogscast, but not the community, its things like this that really show what the majority are like. Kudos to those of you who aren't whining about it.
Great mod FC, this has revived Minecraft for me. Definitely going to inspire some new buildings and mechanical devices. Any idea if the piston mod is going to conflict with anything once it comes out? Mechanical constructions really are the best addition possible to Minecraft.

Hey folks. Sorry i have been away from my pc for a while. Was my birthday this weekend and i spent a lot of time with family and friends. I am back now.
I am hesitant to bring the server back up. I want to but i dont know if its a wise choice for my pocket. Without a steady income atm i need to save as much money as i can. If i were to give an answer right at this instant i dont think i will bring it back up. I do feel hesitant to do this though as i feel like im just abandoning the server and everyone who played on it. Feel free to start looking for other servers. Made some good friends on our server so hopefully we can all move to one server so we stay in touch. Feel free to still use vent or add me on skype (user:phillkearney). Dan and myself will move to another server, i still do enjoy minecraft but running a server has become to difficult.

Feel free to comment, would also like to know what servers you folks decide to move to. If anyone wants the map i can upload it for download. The latest version i have saved will be from a few days before i announced when id be changing the map. So its from about last tuesday or so i think.

it says i have been aded to the whitelist but when i try to connect to the server it says im not whitelisted
is this cause of the new update?

There are a lot of client mods out there that are controversial. Before using one, I'd suggest asking a mod if it's acceptable for that server.

By definition it is a hack. Its a modification of the game that adds non-default mechanics to give an advantage. You may not see it as an advantage but its a pretty large one over someone who doesnt use it regardless of what you are using it for, transport or whatever.
The 'mod' tricks the game and sends custom coordinates to the server to make it think a player is in places it shouldnt get ie. the sky.
Also, set aside the fact that its, not allowed, not legit, it also adds a large load to the server. A player walking around and mining etc sends about 30 bits of data to the server a second. Someone flying, because of the bogus data, sends about 300-400 bits. Just you doing it may not lag the server, but if lots did it, it would. Not that that is the reason we dont allow it.
And from what dan tells me, you folks used it after being told not to. That is what got you a ban, not a warning/telling off.

Still waiting on updates from a few plugins. Worldguard primarly. Things are not protected at the moment so untill then i dont want to put up the server for obvious reasons.
