Redshift has made a script in Python to make non-flat large sized maps. I guess you could request it from him if you want to make your own.
I'll (hopefully) have a 256^3 normal (not flat) map (requested from Redshift) up in about 12 hours, so you could use that for the time being. The thread is in the Mapping an Modding section.
Level editting tools are evolving all the time (not to mention the game itself), so I no doubt you will soon be able to do this with game options or with something like Osici's editor soon.
I've run a few servers since multiplayer got started, and I'm familiar with all the commands. But because I don't have a deicated machine and my computer has some massive overheating problems, they don't stay up for very long.
But I also don't feel safe building on a server that I'm not OP'd in, since the last cavern I made (moving over 23,000 blocks) was Nazi'd. It'd be awesome to be able to build on a server that's always up and that's safe :smile.gif:
I'm very familiar with griefers and how to deal with them. I'm also happy to share are my powers to people who have proven themselves as constructive members of the server.
I'm in the Southern Hemisphere, so will be on when most OPs aren't.

I purchased the game a few weeks ago (proof - http://minecraft.net/skin/skin.jsp?user=AeonSly)
Don't mind which server I'm on, but a lower number would be preferable. My username is AeonSly
If you need references, just ask :smile.gif:
PS. Yay first forum post ever!
