That what I meant it requires whatever the resources you need to host it. Taking away from Minecraft hosting so the host wanna know "should I do it or is more beneficial to just have the resources for Minecraft hosting?" There two reasons it would be worth it A it good market and/or B to get more customers over to the business because of the additional option. That I think what the host is trying to get to.
The resources would only be used if someone had actually purchased the MCPE hosting in which case, yes, it would be worth it.
Because providing additional services always have a cost. Either from cutting "production" of existing services or adding to existing load. The host wish to make an informed decision, because there is no such thing as "nothing required" services or goods.
Providing MCPE hosting doesn't have an additional cost if you're already selling normal Multicraft Minecraft hosting. It is merely an extra option you can pursue for free (provided you have space) to gain more clients.
You're actually entirely wrong. I don't know where exactly you purchase your servers, but we don't rent our hardware. We own it and collocate it in some great data centers. This means we own the hardware and in the beginning, it does cost a lot more. For the price we've calculated, we've undersold ourselves on this one. The Wordpress files were custom from a highly skilled web developer for $100. The web server is also hosted off another collocated machine we own which is less expensive but still costs quite a bit. The graphics were also custom and designed just for us and that costs around $150 for everything we had added here and there.
Overall, the total is roughly $900 and even then that's less than everything put into this. Please try to think outside of the box since not everyone hosts exactly like you and goes for the cheapest option. We're here for quality, not quantity and how much profit we can get off of this oversold machine (not saying you oversell).
For further questions, do not hesitate to ask us.

What you paid for everything is quite irrelevant, considering everything has a market value.
If you paid well above market value to get your business started you can't expect to get anywhere near what you paid back.
Everything you're offering is $200 tops (and that's being generous).
Also I highly doubt that you colo that box considering the bidding starts at $550.
Xeon E3-1240v2 @ 3.4 GHz – 32 GB DDR3 – 120 GB SSD [Upgradable Upon Request] – 1 GBPS Uplink – 10 TB Bandwidth – Located in Buffalo NY - $100
Wordpress Web Files - $0 (you use a publicly available template and just put your logo in)
50 GB Diskspace Web Hosting - $10
WHMCS Branded License - $16
Graphic Files - $20
= $136
I'm having trouble understanding your valuation based on the inclusions you've listed here.
Could you help me understand how we got to the $550 valuation?

Not saying that this is the case here, as I don't know for certain, but it is definitely a possibility.
