Its not even that, the things from IDEA and Home Despot are just things you can do with blocks + some cool no physic tricks. Its not like its something completely new and cool. If you use something from IDEA or Home Despot most people will already know about it too. Its how you put the entire build together that wins you the white list spot. Say if there were these really cool tables in IDEA, but they didn't quite fit with what you were building, should you put it in? Probably not. Check the WL grading rubric on the wiki to get an idea for greylisting and whitelisting. If someone were to give wackymon a video tour of IDEA and Home Despot that would be very kind of them. But It wouldn't be so helpful as I would expect many things just copied straight from the video and mashed together.
What I did for my Greylist build was having a really good unique build.
My second try at a whitelist build got me whitelisted when it was about only 75% finished and I was offline. I combined unique furniture (not found in IDEA), some proper built circles, arches and pillars, and made something very realistic.
