Adding more ores just because we haven't gotten any for a long time is not good reasoning at all. There's also not much point at all in adding these... Enchantments already give us the buffs we want and the Californium is basically a painfully rare super ore. Why do we need another villager currency?

It's still another food sprite among more food sprites. Those recipes you mentioned don't sound game-fitting at all (which would also be more food sprites we can cram down our faces).

Well we make perfectly straight sticks from plank blocks by hand, and mine out perfectly cut diamonds after bashing a pickaxe against an ore.
I'm not the biggest fan of the idea, mainly because of how stupid easy it is to get wood. And trees can be planted in the desert anyway. If it was added, I wouldn't complain, though.

Of course a "GUNS" thread would rally up the most posts compared to the better suggestions... #mcforumslogic
Holy wall of text. The OP already knows guns won't even brush up against a game like this. There's 5 pages of "gun's don't fit", adding another 8 of the same point doesn't change anything.

What's with all the new combat hate? It was added for a reason. Did you at least try this stuff out? I don't mean to knock someone else's opinion but that's weird reasoning.

I went through and cleaned up the formatting for the OP, since it was stretching the page on more than needed and because if it wasn't fixed, everyone was likely going to focus on that rather than the actual idea. No data in the OP has changed other than removal of blank space and some formatting changes to make it easier to read.

Copied from the last guide. Please add the ability for this forum to have cheat codes:
SPACEBOOT1 - Disable joke threads
FLAZOONI - Same as above
GYPSYBLACKMAGIC - Same as above
BAKEDTOAST - Same as above
YESMEANSNO - No poll answer swapping
SIGNATUREHERE - Disable pointless post signing
YUNO - Erases all memes in all posts
1UP - Disables upvotes for terrible suggestions
BUMPIT - Disables new posters graverobbing threads from years ago. Herp.
SIZEDOESNTMATTER - Disables unnecessary big text
COLORMEDUMB - Unreadable text colors default to black
THEYSEEMEROLLIN - Criticism is not mistaken for hating anymore
CRAMFLAKES - Stops idea cramming, so the OP doesn't randomly put stuff in his idea just to call it "finished".
SELECTIVEREADING - The OP doesn't just respond to positive posts
WASNTME - The OP doesn't make excuses for bad suggestions. (eg. "my little brother posted this not me")
VENDETTA - OP doesn't carry a grudge against the critics
Also, can we have a mention that if you can't handle negative reception, there's no point in making a thread?

The suggestions forum has grown to a point where useless suggestions have been suggested. Here are among some of the things I, (and many other people) never wish to see.
Minecraft has no place for advanced technology. If you want cars, then go create a command block car, or download some mods. Cars would be extremely overpowered and useless in the Minecraft world.
Guns, Cannons and Lasers:
One of the most overused and trite suggestions. Firearms have no place in Minecraft. With firearms, say goodbye to old-fashioned gameplay and game balance. Want to skeletons, withers and dragons efficiently and quickly with a machine gun? Go play with commands or get a mod. Guns don't belong in Vanilla Minecraft.
This is way too overpowered, as it basically enables you to fly. The dragon egg is a monument or a trophy, not something with real purpose. All it does is to show that you have killed the mighty dragon.
If you want to suggest a mob, then be detailed and concise, and don't make it have crazy advantages or wreck the player beyond all belief. You need to maintain game balance.
Most of these suggestions destroy game balance. My advice is that if you want something, there is a 80% chance that it is possible with some command work.

Please don't pretend that you're trying to defend the original suggestion.
This suggestion is redundant. While technically it cannot be locked since it doesn't break any rules, I think guns are on a list of recommended ideas that are advised against. It's pretty well known that no-one wants guns in Minecraft (except this guy obviously). We don't need guns!!!!!!!!11!1!!1!!!11!!!!1

Were you aware that last thread was meant to be humorous and not entirely "salty"?
- 99.9% facts(as opposed to the old one, I won't show any percentage: hyperbolizing or not, people get offended with ease as proven in the old thread)
*rubs forehead, groans* See, this just sounds like you're getting verbal revenge on the last guide. As if it bullied you. "People get offended with ease". Did you also forget about how much it improved people who read the thing? And please don't respond that that never happened, because it did.
- no manipulation
- no aggressive and/or salty manner
- child friendly
- quickly introducing you to the suggestions' world just like a plug n' play device
- is lackluster
- isn't interesting and attention grabbing with the Theriasis' genius writing
- is still missing plenty of important things
Just because you didn't like the last guide, doesn't mean it was wrong. If this guide is 99.9% correct facts, the old one was 200%. I'd rather have an interesting wall of text that covers everything than a brief read that covers maybe 10% of stuff written in a meh way.
I don't see this forum getting any better, especially with the increase of joke accounts being made and knowing what they can get away with.
