Server has a good look and feel to it guys, unfortunately my internet connection doesn't like it.

p.s. I got a grin at the Herobrine references in the maze.

    23 blocks? AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! :laugh.gif:
I've seen hostiles fall down a ravine and survive! :sleep.gif:

To get them to die on impact, you're building a fall essentially from the top to the bottom of the world. That's a garaunteed kill. :cool.gif:

    -applaudes- :happy.gif:

Everything you have stated above is the exact reasons why I adore this game beyond any other.

I play games in such consistent repetitions that I'm able to perfect exact plots. Gameplay becomes stale and automatic and soon I lose interest in the game. I subsequently have to intentionally make mistakes to have any fun.

But I cannot do this with Minecraft. Every world is new, every terrain different. I cannot build the same buildings in the same places, I must adapt to my environment and adapt the environment to me as well.
Monsters spawn in random places, not chosen marks enabled by storylines. If you forget to light up the inside of your roof, you'll soon have spiders crawling around in your attic. (Don't laugh, that's happened to me.)
Everything changes. The world is shaped by our choices, and the world shapes us through our experiences. It doesn't hinder our development, but give it a new avenue of potential.

In SMP, architects are able to observe the works and styles of others and their perception of architecture is altered for having seen it. Farmers enjoy discussing crop outlay methods that balence quantity, security and ease of harvesting.

Never before have I found a game with such a sense of community.
In one server you will find dozens of scurrying merchants, in another you'll find simple country townsfolk, battling the hostiles and keeping pigs off their crops.

Minecraft is indeed a game cultivated by its players, but the game also cultivates the open-minded people playing it. Should we close our minds, we may as well stop playing. For we have already lost.

I have a tactical idea for when the swarm. Jump onto a pole 2 blocks high and drop lava from a bucket.

I would totally put one in my friends house and just have an inconspicuous button sitting there that he would have to press. then Lol at his rage.

It's best to put the button next to a door, that way their house blows up as soon as they leave. :cool.gif:
