I enjoy realistic mods like this. I am gathering mods to add to version 1.2 of my modpack, MaelstromMC. The MMC modpack primarily contains futuristic and modern items. I would very much like to include your mod because it is simple and modern. May I please use the Photoptics mod in the MaelstromMC modpack?
P.S. I'm building a base for Stellarium by developing Stellar Sky. In other words, Stellar Sky is getting to Stellarium, while there won't be configurable planetary system in Stellar Sky.

A detailed walkthrough of the error, its code path and all known details is as follows:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Does this mod changes the shape of planet minecraft making spherical or cubical?
Also it could create your own galaxy or the entire universe in minecraft?
And how long it takes to do the mod?
Do you mean Stellarium?
In the case, planets will be spherical, and adding galaxy is far away feature.
Of course you will be able to choose them on Stellarium. But on Stellar Sky, varying longitude and latitude was impossible since minecraft considers that the sky is constant by space in a world.
Could you add the milky way for 1.8.9?The reason i liked the mod was the milky way, and most minecraft mods aren't updated for 1.9,and for me(and a lot of other ppl) the fun in minecraft is in the mods
I was really intrigued to use this mod. However, when I went into my world, I could only see the stars in the night sky - The moon and its halo weren't there and neither was the Milky Way.
I'm using 1.8.9 Minecraft Tweaker (it's so I don't lag as much) along with the mods Forge (obviously), BetterFPS, BetterThanBunnies, Optifine HD, Xaero's Minimap, and this mod, Stellar Sky-0.2.1.0 and SciAPI-1.2.0.1.
Use recent version of Stellar Sky. You can find it from curseforge.
I was also having the memory leak type issue on 1.7.10. Opened the game with Stellar Sky, SciAPI and like 100 other mods. Game locked up instantly, second time round I did shift-f3, the whole pie graph was Sky rendering related. was cycling memory usage like crazy and task manager said cpu usage was well above 50%
using that latest 1.7.10 version.
It's not memory leak, Stellar sky uses lots of short-lived objects. But on modern JVM, managing those are very efficient, so it should not be problem.
It would be more related with your graphics if your fps is low, but tps is normal.

Yes, Photoptics is free to use in modpacks.

Ofc, Stellar Sky.

Planned on the next version:

What do you mean by 'wont work'?
And what shader mod and shader packs did you used?
0
You are using wrongvm version of Stellar API.
Use v0.1.1.4f
0
Yes the size will be variable.
Find Photoptics mod, it is telescope part companion of Stellar Sky.
0
IDK, you should test it.

Photoptics is a WIP mod about Optics.
Currently this mod adds Basic Binoculars,
which can be crafted by 4 glass panes on the edges, 3 iron ingots on the middle row in the crafting table,
and can be used using right click.
+ On latest version for minecraft 1.7.10, golden / diamond (red/green/blue) binoculars/telescopes are added!

Photoptics Binoculars are good companion of your night sky travel on Stellar Sky.

Update stellar sky to recent versions. Currently there is no effect like that.
Sorry, it's hard till Shader-Mod provides APIs.
