Awesome Minecraft launcher! Just wondering, is it normal that some ModLoader-required mods do not work w/ the Magic Launcher, but they work with the official launcher?
This mod is somewhat of a mimicry of the popular butter mod, except it plays with cheesy stuff like armor, tools, etc. This mod requires ModLoader.
Oddly enough, some ModLoader-required mods are not installed correctly with the Magic Launcher. This is one of them, so you will have to install this mod the not-so-easy way. I will try to resolve this issue soon. Nevertheless, hope you enjoy!
omg, after weeks of cracking the new Minecraft directory and figuring out how everything works with the new launcher, I finally updated Brass for Minecraft 1.6.2!
But here's the catch: I know a lot of people, including I, use the Magic Launcher for easy mod installation. But oddly enough, this mod cannot be installed properly using Magic Launcher, but I will try to resolve this issue ASAP. For now, you will have to use . Don't forget that ModLoader is required for this mod.

though i should tell you mediafire....
I fixed the link; downloading the mod should work now.
I made a mod named "Brass" roughly during the time of Minecraft 1.3.2. I stopped updating after 1.4.2. It was until last week that I decided to update my mod for Minecraft 1.5.2, and the mod was installed and working correctly.
When I finished updating my .class files (by using Eclipse and MCP) for Minecraft 1.6.2, Eclipse said that there were no syntax errors anywhere. In fact, when I clicked "Run" and tested client Minecraft (in Eclipse), the mod was working correctly. So, in that instance, I thought that my .class files should also work in the official Minecraft client. I re-obfuscated and extracted all modified .class files, and packed all the necessary mod .class files and textures into a compressed (.zip) folder. So I run Magic Launcher, load ModLoader and Brass. What's befuddling is that the Magic Launcher decides to notify me of an error in my Brass.zip compressed folder, even though there were no errors found when I was running Eclipse. I tried to start Minecraft, and I resulted in this crash report:

I really hope this issue is resolved soon, because I'm literally almost desperate for updating this mod for MC 1.6.2. Thanks!
I try to decompile Minecraft 1.6.2 (w/ Modloader installed) and it results in three syntax errors. Also, I did use the Modloader Decompile Fix's "MLProp.java" file, but it did not resolve the issues. Here's what the syntax errors look like in ModLoader.class :
This mod is finally updated for Minecraft 1.6.2! I made several changes to this because the previous versions made Minecraft way too easy to survive through.
Just make a new MCP folder for 1.4.2 and put your 1.3.2 source files in the new 1.4.2 MCP. Depending on what your mod creates, you might get no errors or a bunch, fix those and your updated.
Didn't work apparently; I open up Eclipse and there are no class files whatsoever. Are there certain files I have to replace?
After the new update, I've been doing endless research on how to update Minecraft mods to 1.4.2, and honestly, I couldn't find anything. Do I have to create the Java classes all over again? Or is there an easier way? Help me, please.
What does the option "Chunk Updates per Frame" do? And if I wanted to turn on "Antialiasing", do I have to restart just Minecraft, or my whole computer?
Everyone, I don't plan to have anymore updates on this mod, because I'm currently in the middle of developing another mod. I may put it in the WIP Mods forum section soon.

Try re-installing Minecraft by using Mojang's official launcher.

I added instructions for mod installation w/out Magic Launcher.

And also, is this compatible with Optifine or no?

Exactly where do I place which files into the minecraft.jar archive?

Sorry for the confusion. I'm trying to update my mods; I already updated Minecraft, the game.
