    Quote from TheHappySquid

Obsidian tools and armour are are bad idea, because inevitably they'd have more durability than diamond (unless you're going with the whole 'brittle thing') and once you have one diamond pickaxe, you could mine about 300 obsidian pickaxes worth, it would totally mess up the rarity:durability ratio...

Good point, but there is just too small of an amount that you can do with obsidian. All you can do is make a portal, so adding something else really cool would be cool, after all, it is REALLY annoying to mine and make.

posted a message on New Blocks
I've been thinking about some blocks that would be really convenient to have in minecraft. When you have stacks of certain items, or some NEW ORIGINAL blocks. My idea is being able to craft redstone and coal into blocks because that stuff piles in your inventory. It'd be nice to be able to craft them into 9x9 blocks like you can diamond, gold, iron, and lapis. It'd also be cool if there was a fire ore that you can get fire gems from and craft chainmail armor or add newly craftable items. Obsidian tools and armor would also be cool. Please give me your ideas. Thank you!

posted a message on Minecraft Dares
Hello! I'm thinking of making a youtube series called "Minecraft Dares," in which I will be doing dares that people dare me to do in minecraft. Very simple. The only problem is that I need some dares to get me started. Although this probably will not air for a while, I'd still like your ideas. Please do not add lame/unoriginal ideas.

    (unoriginal: hug a creeper :sleep.gif:)
    (original: be a creeper :biggrin.gif:)

    Please and thank you,

posted a message on Tree farm ideas
There are a number of ways to do this.

    1st category: Type of farm.
    -1 farm of every tree
-1 farm of one type of tree
-3 farms of one type of tree
(and the 2 types of this, one type of this, etc.)

My favorite trees are the birch trees.

    2nd category: Necessities.
-Birch trees normally are pretty short. The biggest birch tree I've seen only took up 3x3x8 blocks.
-Redwood trees tend to be VERY tall with little leaf span. The most ideal place to plant them is outdoors.
-Normal trees are spontaneous. They can grow tall and have a HUGE leaf span or be a descent size with a descent leaf span. The variety makes any place ideal for planting them.

    3rd category: Sensibility in Possibility
-Normal trees have to have at least 2 spaces between to grow. This is not very ideal since it requires more bonemeal, but spacewise, it is very convenient! Most likely, if you only have 2 spaces between, the trees will overlap, and because of their spontaneousness, that will give you a very ugly tree farm. I normally put 4 spaces between.
-Birch trees are ideal since they're short and easy to chop down. They can grow anywhere and only require 2 blocks of space in between. They also, for the most part, look the same. This will give you a neat farm.
-Redwood trees are a big hassle. They take up too much space and vary too much. If you're looking for a neat indoor farm, redwood is not the tree for you. I haven't planted any redwood, but I imagine they only require 2 spaces in between like every other tree. Plant them outdoors.

    :Logs^:

This is all I know from experience. I hope this was helpful, and best of luck to you with your awesome and convenient farm.

posted a message on What's you worst Creeper memory?
I have two stories, one of them not being my own.

1st one: My brother has a multiplayer server and he was building a giant pyramid. The monsters spawning could have been prevented if he had laid down some torches first, put his server on peaceful, and/or didn't make it hallow (that wasn't an option because it was SUPPOSED to be hallow.) Because of my brother's laziness, we ventured down into our monster home when it was finished with our spawned golden apples, and our spawned diamond swords, and immediately we're ambushed by a million monsters. The annoying ones were the skeleton archers, but the creepers made holes that (I) had to patch up! Just when we were almost done placing torches, I was crept up upon right next to the wall... :SSSS:

2nd one: I was watching a minecraft video (Yogscast) of a custom map. They were in a very dark pyramid when something creeps out of the darkness. Their worst nightmare. Little did they know, but when it exploded, it caused this huge, chain reaction. A creeper explodes=the whole pyramid turns into lava and rubble. I'll never know how that little explosion caused something so big...

So there you have it. Skeleton archers are bad, but not all explosions are what they seem. Creepers may not be everyone's worst nightmare, but they certainly are mine. It's I good thing they don't exist in real life... or do they?

Well, we have worse creepers in real life. They may not explode but they are ANNOYING! Those perverted, little... :angry.gif:

With wishes to you all of a creeper-free future,

It does; it soaks up water. Try it if you want to, and remember: it is a removed block, so he probably won't make it obtainable in the game any time soon. I hope its soaking abilities will suffice to you. -AZilla2498

posted a message on Survival Server
I can do one of two things under some conditions.

    1. I already have a server I'm working on with a village. We could use that.
    2. I can make another server.

CONDITIONS: It will not be on 24/7. Communication would be a problem since we would be on at different times. If you prefer I make a new server, it'd be complicated because I wouldn't be able to use my old server at the same time, and I like that server. A few other people might randomly come on, although the possibility is fairly low. I most likely will have my server open between these times, but I won't be on except for during the summer: 8:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. EST. There may be long periods of time where I am not on for several days, and my computer is laggy.

These may seem like a lot of conditions, but I'm sure many people also have most of them. I'd like to help you, but if you find someone better, I'll understand. Best of luck to you, and I hope your youtube videos are a hit! -AZilla2498

posted a message on Stuff to do?
Well, there are a number of things you can do.

    1. Build an entire village/town/city.
    2. Build a system of villages/towns/cities.
    3. Make a farm of every kind or just a farm with everything in it.
    4. Spell out "Minecraft" in something cool. (Examples: lava, water, glowstone...) Whether the letters are all capitalized, you can decide.
    5. Make an underwater base/village/town/city.
    6. Make a church or synagogue.
    7. Make an underground village/town/city.
    8. Make a village/town/city in the sky.
    9. Make replicas of random things.
    10. Make a 1:1 replica of your minecraft skin.
    11. Make a dragon farm and make dragons out of colored wool. (that should keep you working for a while)
    12. Make replicas of minecraft animals.
    13. Make a maze.
    14. Build these things in the NETHER.
    15. Explore the Nether.
    16. Have a feast.
    17. Join/make a multiplayer surver.
    18. Make/download a custom map.
    19. Invent a new kind of elaborate minecraft game or just play one of the existing. (golf seems pretty fun)
    20. Do what I do when I run out of things to do in minecraft: WATCH MINECRAFT VIDEOS!

These things should keep you busy for quite a while. :smile.gif: I dare you to do all of them, and if you do, PLEASE tell me. Now, here is some diamond for your dangerous journey. :Diamond: This has been a (hopefully) helpful response from AZilla2498. Your welcome.
