This is out of the scope of the MCAnimator. There must always be the MCALibrary in the code, as model class doesn't use vanilla model methods (no euler angles for examples but quaternions). If you just want a static model you only need to use the model class AND removing the call to AnimationHandler in this class
Also in our planned list there's a new way for creating static models, very similar to CubeWorld way.
cool thanks! Ill try it out some more and try and get some new armor!

wildbill22 posted a message on Mc animator new mob help :(Posted in: Modification DevelopmentI think this is the forum:
Some people still use a common proxy, this is something you create, not something in Minecraft (I think). So you can call it the common or server proxy, they are really the same thing. There is code that runs on both sides, which goes in the common or server proxy, and there is code that only runs on the client, that goes in the client proxy. Not sure if this is 100% accurate, as I'm still pretty new to this myself.
I suppose if you have code that only runs on the server, you would then also add a server proxy in addition to the common proxy.

dvatreknerd314 posted a message on [1.2.2] MCAnimator | Windows, Mac & Linux | Important fixes! | Create your models, animate them, paint your texturesPosted in: Minecraft ToolsI just tried this with another model without checking this thread so I didn't realize a bug had been discovered, but the second model I made had a slightly longer walk animation. The same problem occurred, but only within the first three frames (the animation was five frames long, the last two worked fine) if that's at all helpful.

CoolSquid posted a message on List of sites stealing Minecraft content. StopModReposts!Posted in: Mods Discussion#StopModReposts on Twitter! Want the last info? Follow @StopModReposts! We also have a website!
The list may be found at GitHub.
If you are a mod author trying to get your mods removed from those sites, look at this. If your videos are being reposted at YouTube, look at this.
StopModReposts is a movement against illegal redistribution of
Minecraft content, mainly focused on mods. The movement consists of a website, a Twitter campaign, a list of illegal mod mirrors, and several browser plugins. We also have an IRC channel and a Twitter profile.
To report a site that might be illegally redistributing mods, please open an issue in our issue tracker.
We do currently target reposts of the following content types: mods,
resource packs, maps, and modpacks. In addition, we target websites
providing malicious Minecraft content. Why is mod theft a problem?
The feeling of finding your work on those websites. Just the feeling of finding your mods on those websites is extremely discouraging for many people. Lets say that you wrote a book. The day after, you see the book in a shop, with a big "9books" logo on the front page. You haven't even been notified. How would you feel? You then read the books ToS, and see that "9books" is claiming to own your book! This is extremely discouraging.
Outdated versions. When users find a bug, they then go to the mod author to report it. The problem is, that the bug was fixed 2 months ago! This is very annoying for both the author and the user.
Wrong Minecraft versions. Those websites are marking the mods as working with wrong Minecraft version. They do this to get more downloads. The user will then go to the mod author and complain.
Possible malware. Mods from those sites are untrustable, and may contain malware.
Making money of other peoples work. Those sites are placing other peoples mods behind AdFly links, and other ads, and are directly earning money on other peoples work!
Stealing money. When many people download from those sites instead of the official sites, the author loses revenue. Modders don't earn much from their mods, but small amounts of money can be a big motivation.
Stealing downloads. Maybe one of the most encouraging things about making mods, is seeing your mods getting lots of downloads. When many users download from those sites instead of the official sites, the author loses many of downloads from his/her server. This is extremely discouraging for the modder.
PSA: If you come across a site that you believe to be illegally re/distributing minecraft mods, you can PM me, and I'll check it out as soon as possible.
If you want to block those sites automatically, take a look at this Firefox addon, this Chrome addon or this Opera addon!
Equip this signature banner, and help spread the word!

Help with what?
I just started using this tool a few days ago. I have a graphics guy who imported a techne file, updated it for MCAnimator, and then created two animations. I spent several hours reading tutorials, looking at the code generated by MCAnimator, and then editing to fit into the mod we are working on. I'm doing something pretty unique, in that I the player is rendered as the mob we created and animate with MCAnimator.
It mostly did what we were hoping it would do. The animations run too slow though. Now that is a specific questions I might ask after we look into whether we did something wrong or not.
If you think the problem lies in specific part of your code, gives us a link to the code or put it into a spoiler (when writing your reply, click the ! ).

Sure, we already tried to do it. The fact is that Undo and Redo are terribly difficult things to do. We'll do our best to implement them asap
Thank you. It would sure help me (and probably a lot of other people...). It just makes modeling easier. Anyways, thank you.

Remember: player models have two texture layers. You should be able to recreate this by adding slightly larger boxes that are children around the the actual head and arms. Not sure how much bigger, but if I had to guess it's probably 1/8th bigger. The texture map should give you some hints. - To post a comment, please login.

DOWNLOAD: SleepingBags mod 1.0.0 (Minecraft 1.6.4)

Add sleeping bags into the game and in your modpacks!Sleeping bags are very useful: they can be rolled up and down, you can bring them on your back, they have many colors and they don't set your spawn point when you sleep on them!Better than Minecraft beds, smaller than a normal block. Bring them everywhere during your adventures!Very useful when you want to sleep far from your home and when you are in small and deadly dangerous.

Forget Techne and all its bugs and limitations!

Similar to Techne graphic, but completely made in Java for a perfect compatibility with all the computers, the MCAnimator will make your life a lot easier.
Creating a new model is simple and the new parent-child box system will let you easily create complex animations, something that you cannot do withother softwares without a good Java knowledge.
Many tools are included in the software and the texture offsets won't be aproblem anymore, you can just drag and drop the textureMap with fewclicks!

Release 1.1.5f for MC 1.7.2: Download here
Installation: Install Forge 10.12.2.1147 and then drag and drop the SW mod zip file in your .minecraft/mods folder. Have fun!
What's new in this version: check the StarWars mod changelog.
Information and Help
Official SW server: http://swu.enjin.com/
Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/DigitalDragonStudios
Follow us on PlanetMinecraft: http://www.planetminecraft.com/mod/official-starwars-mod/
The 1.1.5c version is mainly an update to Minecraft 1.7.2, but it has some cool features and several important bug fixes. Our official server is updated too and we are organizing some new cool planets to visit and arenas!
If you want to check all the new features, please check the changelog.
Next 1.1.6 update will be dedicated to clones and droids factions. Expect many surprises and follow us on Facebook to check every news realtime!
Finally, we are going to build an official website for the DDS, where we will host a new wiki and our model editor: the MCAnimator.
Do you think you can do a good trailer or gameplay of the Star Wars mod? Please contact us and we will post it here!
You must have the correct Forge version already installed. Then just download the mod and put it in your .minecraft/mods folder.
Why can't I do this thing?
Probably because we haven't added that feature yet. Sometimes, when Minecraft updates, we must remove some features and readd them later because MC code changes.
How can I go to new planets?
You can travel among planets since the 1.1.5 version of the StarWars mod. Just use your communicator device to call a freelance pilot who will give you a lift.
How can I choose a faction?
Click V and the factions menu will popup automatically.
How can I support the StarWars mod?
Without any support, the SW mod would die and wouldn't be updated for the next MC versions. Please, consider a very little donation for helping us to keep the mod alive.

The model has been created via MCAnimator? If yes, MCAnimator already provides the solution for this problem: go in your entity's Render class and look for the variable "modelHeight". It will translate your model along the Y axis of the world (vertically)

Guys, the new version is out!

- Texture can be loaded in Macs
- Fixed wrong rotations at the first frame
- Fixed wrong translations at the first frame
- Fixed lag after the very last frame
Thanks for your help in reporting hidden bugs!

This is what MCAnimator is actually trying to solve, avoiding the struggling
Well, you should really document about the things you are going to do. ClientProxy is called only on the client-side, so it's the place where you have to register your render classes. In the CommonProxy, you will have to register your entity. In particular, in your common proxy you wrote this:
EntityRegistry.registerModEntity(EntityFairy.class, "Fairy",210, this, 80, 1, true);
the parameter "this" is not valid. You need to use the mod instance, like "MyMain.instance" .
1
Hi guys, I'm one of the MCAnimator developers. Please ask on our forum thread for any help or problem. By the way wildbill22 is right. Many modders still use CommonProxy as it's very useful.
You can register the proxies in 1.7.10 like this:
@SidedProxy(clientSide="com.bedrockminer.tutorial.ClientProxy", serverSide="com.bedrockminer.tutorial.ServerProxy")
public static CommonProxy proxy;
Please check this tutorial to understand more: http://bedrockminer.jimdo.com/modding-tutorials/basic-modding-1-7/proxies/

UPDATE2: We have found the bug. Your simple but pretty model was affected by 2 bugs at the same time. And this caused the weird behaviour. We are fixing the last bug and then we'll release a fixed patch!
2
Of course, we are working on it right now (Fir3Will is doing an amazing work on it!)
