    Hello there,

are you still building? I'm doing the same project, but not in that scale you use.
I build it to use it as a base in survival. Maybe i will post some pics when its done.
You should take a look at the "Small blocks Mod". With it you can place 8x8 tiny blocks on one block.

    Peace

I have looked at the Small Blocks mod, along with many other mods, but in the end, I enjoy vanilla MC the best. I use to have the singleplayer commands, but eventually I stopped upgrading that with the software updates too.

some contraption that moves a lot of solid blocks like a conveyor belt that comes from different "irregular" sources.. something like that?

GenerikB on YouTube made a modular conveyor system on his LP world, here is the link:

Very nice, although 1 block = 10 inches will probably make it look huge, since 1 block is supposed to represent 1 meter.

Keep going though, it's looking nice.

I thought the scale was rather large, but it was the only way to get all of the details... The horizontal slats that go over the driveway and first floor are EXACTLY 10 inches in the drawing... Most of the wall thicknesses are between 8 and 12 inches, so it makes it difficult to use the 1 block = 1 meter....

    Ok, new update!

I started working on the left side of the house today and have come to LOVE the singleplayer command mod!!! It has made this project go ten times faster than it was before.

I got the Staff room completely done, I got the bridge about 75% done, and I found out that the pool was about 20 blocks further back than it was suppose to be.... So I opened the world in MCedit and moved it. All in all, I think I did more today than I had done on the project any other time I worked on it!

I also fixed the river... I took about 500 TNT to the opposite riverbank and blew up a little too much, I also took care of this with MCedit

    here are some photos:

Thank you all for your interest in this project. I took a break from it because I wanted to learn more about the redstone end of Minecraft, and in the process I got hooked on survival mode... Needless to say, I tackled Vechs' Legendary map, and finished it. I have also been tinkering with some of my own redstone designs (which I will not get into at this time) and other little projects.

I will start working on this project again soon, so keep your eyes peeled! ;-)

I have seen many people doing pixel art motifs in Minecraft, but they are mostly of other game characters, Minecraft characters, or other stuff along the same lines...

I made a Pixel Art motif of something I enjoy! WOMEN! lol

The block count from the outside of the wooden frame is 72x72.

I expected some 5+ pistons on top of each other to completely dissapear..

They do, I built an exterior wall around the pistons because when they are engaged you could see the piston rods... It looked like crap until I made the exterior wall.

A good video, despite being a bit excessive for those who have only seen one of your videos, it was informative for the first few minutes. I would recommend altering your design a little bit as to have pistons coming down as well as up giving you two blocks height as a window (build the same thing upside down above the room. You can use a pillar in the middle to allow the same current to flow up/down and also allow access through a ladder.

Here is a simple, quick version of what you wanted! there is a ladder right in the middle of my "Sandcastle" tower.

I took therossxp's "retractable tower" and mirrored the circuit to the top of the tower so that there is a 2x5 window that opens and closes with sticky pistons.

Sorry I don't understand your problem here. What 3 blocks is missing, and what does that have to do with the 3 pistons.

Please refer to my other thread in the Creative section for better photos:

It's not a big deal, I can live with the hole in the wall.

nono, this is what he mean:

You can put the wire behind the lever, it will get powered like that.

That's fine and all, but there are 3 pistons and it would be more noticeable with 3 blocks missing rather than the one that is missing now. Thanks for the help anyways guys!

The lever powers the 6 adjacent blocks, so you just need to make the wire run along the wall on the other side :wink.gif:

I thought that Redstone lines don't work on glass.

also, the 3 glass blocks that the lines would be on are the ones that move...

    More photos:

I got the second floor terrace laid out, and the slotted roofing over the garden section and first floor right terrace.

This is the stairway to the river, at the real house, the glass sheets slide back, stacking on top of eachother. Unfortunately, with the limitations of Minecraft and the RedStone rules, i was only able to make the right 3 glass blocks on the first sheet move... This is the closed position.

    This is the open position.

The stairs that lead to the river.

Thanks for the circuit help, here are some photos of what I am working around and the redstone circuit that I have made. It works, but I wish I could fill in the hole that the Redstone Line makes in my wall, but i guess i can sacrifice it...
