Mac users can already play cross-platform with the real version of Minecraft.

The distribution restrictions on smartphone platforms makes official mod support unlikely.

You can use an Xbox controller with the W10 edition. For Android you'll need a BT controller, and for iOS you'll need a MFI (i.e. Apple approved) controller.

It's not like I unarmored players really stand a chance against enchanted swords right now.

I think it makes sense for an axe to cause way more damage than a sword. Perhaps they should further reduce their attack recharge speed though?

Does this mean they are getting rid of the durability penalty when using anything but a sword as a weapon?

I just did my own testing. It takes 3 hits to kill a zombie with a diamond sword in 1.8. Spam clicking it in 1.9 takes at least 12 hits.

Ok, yes, attacking with your fist is no different than before. The attack meter affects swords and axes.

In the live stream poor Seth seemed rather disappointed that you couldn't actually do anything new with the command blocks. It just makes what you could already do a bit easier and more streamlined.

At this point no one can say. It was reported many months ago that they were having trouble with the save system on the AppleTV version.
To be brutally honest though, this issue probably isn’t very high on their list of priorities, given how the AppleTV has pretty much flopped as a gaming platform. (Speaking as someone who really wishes they did update this version, as it would be the best way for me to play bedrock on my television)

It depends on where you find it. Like if you found it in a natural park, it’s technically government property.

I’m also in the tea camp.

I get Chuck Norris to kill him.

Yeah, just like the bucket, you would click on the mob to capture them. And yeah, iron bars make sense as the recipe ingredient.
Oh, and after some more thought, wolves should only be capture-able in their neutral state; not while hostile to the player. In fact clicking an aggressive wolf will destroy the cage, with 0-3 iron bars being dropped.

Personally I feel that strictly hostile mobs need to follow fantasy theme for them to be vanilla-style. I mean sure spiders and silverfish exist in real-life, but the immense size of these invertebrates in Minecraft is clearly inspired by fantasy works like Tolkien, and Pufferfish are technically neutral mobs. To that end, I like the serpent idea. Giant squid could be reworked into a kraken. And of course any original mob works just fine.

For spawn-proofing, since bedrock edition doesn’t have an F3 screen.

If the player holds the nether quartz item in their hand, it will start to have a “glow” around it when the current block light level is at 8 or above, appearing brighter as said light level goes up.
This would be useful for bedrock edition players who want to make sure their bases are safe from hostile mob spawning.

Hey, I just wanna say thank you for showing interest in my old suggestion! Wish you the best with your mod.

This is an item for capturing and moving small passive mobs, including bats and ocelots, as well as untamed parrots and wolves*, in a manor similar to the way buckets allow you to move around fish.
*I say untamed so as to prevent the possibility of someone stealing someone else’s tamed animals on a server.
i mainly envíoned this for the bats and ocelots, making it more practical to use this mobs for decorative purposes. Sure you can tame the ocelot, but then you get a mob that neither looks nor acts the same. Also being able to move untamed mobs would be especially useful for servers, as you could share the mobs you find with other players, or even just to be able to have a decorative mob that wanders around your base without following you.

I think the reason I have left this out of the game because of the rather unfortunate implications, the villagers being humaniod et al....
