    %appdata%/.minecraft/mods/Djoslin

You could always try to make them and mouse over them to find out...
    but...
4 iron bars is the pipe
5 iron bars is the grate
4 iron bars and 1 furnace is the pump
4 iron bars and 1 redstone dust is the water sensor

    On a different note:
@Djoslin: When you do implement pressure there will have to be a way to neutralize it, otherwise water towers will have a tendency to flood the farms they are supplying...

Mayhaps you are simply unskilled in the way of the piston, and instead of tying to address your own faults you blame the tool instead of the one failing at using the tool...

Im just going to have to say that RedStoneFox doesn't know what hes talking about and is lobbing opinions around like factual statements, in fact he has said that statement twice and both times he has been corrected...

TooManyItems does work with this mod, I know, I have it working.
On a similar note, I have noticed only one glitch with the actual mechanics. There may be a few graphical glitches, but nothing game breaking.

Those of you with texture problems, I believe a few pages back we discovered that it has issues with larger texture sizes. Those of you with installation problems, are you trying with a fresh jar? Those of you who dont want items destroyed in rain, change the property file. Those of you who dont want water from rain, change the property file. Those of you who cant read instructions, RTFM or GTFO.

    I think i have found a bug.
I had a small lake (wich was large enough to be infite, i think) i took a bucket and bucketed it out then put it back on.
the small layers of water caused massive lag and decreased my framerate (wich is usually 60 on far and fancy) to 3 or 2 on tiny and fast.

I just tried it and it did not have any impact on my game, there could be something else nearby messing up the water. Mayhaps a cave or something?

    @Djoslin

When liquids flow do they only check the block directly adjacent to them? I ask because I was playing with lava and I notice it developed a definite slope with the highest point being where I originally put the lava and the lowest be the furthest point away. Have you ever tried extending the check to 2 blocks or even 3 blocks away? It may help make a liquid better fill out its area. Although 4 additional checks per block may have an undesirable effect.

BTW DJoslin, when you begin work on pressure you may want to look into how Dwarf Fortress handles it. Either way I fear that the addition of pressure may cause some depressing lag issues.

RedStone, Too Many items does in fact work with this mod.

Either that, or I am magic and it looks like it does...

Maybe he should release it as is, with the warning that it will crash your game, that way they can all stop asking about the newest version. Sure they'll complain about crashing, but then we will know who needs a good kick.

If volcanoes were to be added I would not wish for them to drastically change the way terrain is generated, at least not on the global scale. On a local scale a volcano would be pretty different then the surrounding land.

Mayhaps of only destroying the blocks around it the "magma pipe" has a random chance of causing blocks on the surface to raise/form. That way volcanoes can grow. Although that could become a nuisance if a volcano decided it wanted to grow next to my house.

Also, I remember back in freshman biology when we started talking about genetics and I began wondering how to program a simple little system.... Ah high school, boring me to the point where I program random stuff...

@Farseer there may be a way in the property file

@Eternal_Destiny when you "squeeze" the sponge water can come out of all sides, if water comes out on top it can get reabsorbed. Is that what happened?

Also, when pressure gets working I am going to get to relive my Dwarf Fortress days in glorious voxel vision. All kinds of Fun await me on the other side of this tunnel...
*Imagines that scene from A Bugs Life as the ants are digging a tunnel into a lake, poor colony flooded*

Oh pringles.... Where is the patience?

Djoslin could do what the IC guy is doing and just refuse to update till MC updates slow down, at the very least you could wait 24 hours before asking whether some one has done work for free for your enjoyment.

I have had a few issues with pumps and it appears to be graphical. If there is no water to be pumped the pump appears to be in its off state, but if I give it water it will turn back to on.

    So it would appear:
Pipes will lose their grate texture on the end if they run out of water
Pumps appear to turn off if they lose their water
Grates appear to shut if they lose their water
Heated iron blocks only hurt from the side if they don't have water.

If you make it so water doesn't "evaporate" during a rainstorm we may end up with puddles too deep to evaporate normally. May be something that needs testing.
