So I want a mod that adds another ore into the Nether and several other items. The ore would be called Netherkin Ore.
So you would find this in the Nether pretty commonly but not as common as Nether Quartz. It would like netherrack but with really red strokes on it. It would be rarer than iron ore. When you mine it,it would drop 2-3 Netherkin Shards. If you put 3 Netherkin Shards from left to right in a row in a crafting table it would create a Netherkin Ingot. This would be the essential item to create Netherkin related items and tools.
Netherkin Sword: Crafted like a normal sword,but with Netherkin Ingots. Does 3 hearts of damage. Has a higher durability than diamond.
Netherkin Axe: Crafted like a normal axe,but with Netherkin Ingots. Faster than iron axes. Has a higher durability than diamond.
Netherkin Pickaxe: Crafted like a normal pickaxe,but with Netherkin Ingots. Faster than iron pickaxes. Has a higher durability than diamond.
Netherkin Shovel: Crafted like a normal shovel,but with Netherkin Ingots. Faster than iron shovels. Has a higher durability than diamond.
Netherkin Armor: All armor are crafted the same way as normal armor,but with Netherkin ingots. All armor are stronger than iron and have a higher durability than diamond.
Now that the Netherkin Sets are done, let me get to the Mobs and other items.
Mob Name: Netricherb
Spawns: In the Nether randomly
Looks: Looks like a flying jellyfish with vines instead of tentacles and is on fire.
Style Of Attacks:
1. Attacks by whipping it's vines into you. Does 2 hearts of damage.
2. Constricts you with it's vines so you cannot move and sets you on fire.
Drops: 1-3 Nether Herbs, 6-7 vines.
Mob Name: Nether Gear
Spawns: In Nether Fortresses randomly
Looks: Looks like a gear that is on fire and rolls around the floors.
Style Of Attacks:
1. Attacks by rolling into you and causes 1 heart of damage. Also sets you on fire.
2. Spawns several mini Nether Gears that roll into you and causes half a heart of damage each.
Drops: 3-5 Iron Ingots, 1-2 Gold Ingots
New Items:
Nether Herbs: Dropped by Netricherbs. When eaten,it gives you fire resistance for a minute and gives 1 hunger shank.

The new minecraft launcher allows you to have multiple instances of minecraft. You can have one running 1.6.4 for playing on servers and one on 1.5 for the mod.
I understand, but i do not want to downgrade just to use it. if i did i would get hexxit (it has the mod), but i want it on 1.6.4 so i can have it AND go on servers like shotbow and flatcore
I would like the Hookshot from legendgear updated to 1.6.4, because it seems like a fun item, but i do not want to downgrade to 1.5.1 in order to use it (I like to play on servers)
There is already a mod with the Hook Shot. It is called Legend Gear

I was actually looking at the Legendgear mod today, but its not updated to 1.6.4, so thats why i was asking. but thanks for the dual wield one, ill check into it
Hi, so if anyone here has played The legend of Zelda, you should know of an item called the Hookshot, Clawshot, or DoubleClawshot (depending on the game).I would like one that works like the DoubleClawshot, meaning it would:
Grappel and drag a player to wood-ish blocks (Logs, Planks, Doors, Trapdoors, chests, Ect.)
Grappels to iron bars
If hits a mob/player gives slowness5 for 5 seconds( to mimic the paralised effect from Ocarina of Time) and damages mob by half a heart.
New block that is attachable to stone bricks, crafted with one iron ingot, gives 4 "hooks" (shapeless), is NOT a full block (meaning it would be able to walk through, like a torch or button) and can be grappeled to.
Able to hook to things up to 40 blocks away
crafting recipie:
If somone makes this please have it be a Forge mod for 1.6.4
If the hookshot could look like this, that would be nice.
Well, I could do that, but that would take a few minutes to set up
Maybe you can use the mod in around 15 minutes, gonna set it up
+ you don't have to give me credit.

if the hopper could be a bit faster that would be nice, but not nessicary
