Download and launch the jar version of the server and launch it in a batch with java -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar "minecraft_server_1.7.4.jar
or just download my deluxe launcher (still in alpha so not much content yet but still better than the normal batch launch)
(that "deluxe" version is posted for the first time... Now!)
I have something simmilar (and much better) for terraria but im not going to post it yet...
