Why are you in prison? Who knows. You find yourself in a prison filled with other prisoners who are guarded over by the guards and the warden. You need to but something at the old shop, but with not a penny to your name, you decide to work. There are many ways to make money within these walls -- not all of them legal -- so you decide to get to work. One day you may find youself as an escapee, or perhaps you would rather lead the baddest, meanest gang of criminals in jail? It's all up to you.

In the CaptiveCraft Prison, you are either a prisoner or a guard. The job of a guard is to take away contraband items (like swords)and to prevent rioting, killing, gangs etc. The prisoners may make money by mining in the quarry or the ruins, collecting cacti and sugar cane in the greenhouse or chopping down trees in the tree farm and selling the collected items to Ye Olde Shoppe for some cash. They can also kill other players to steal their items and some of their cash, or participate in the mob arena to make money for slaughtering mobs. Note: killing other players in front of a guard will end in you probably dying. Killing too much will get you sent to jail world, which sucks. If you manage to escape through the escape course you will become an escapee and may build new cities, but be careful, because there is still a warrant out for an arrest, and if seen outside the jail a guard may send you back!
(The warden however, may not send you back, as he can come to your town to protect it.)

- A cell house containing your cell, which you must go to during lockdown.
- A jail world underneath the cell house for naughty players.
- A tree farm to make money from.
- A greenhouse containing cacti and sugar cane to make some money.
- A quarry to make money from.
- A more dangerous but rewarding version of the quarry- The Ruins.
- Ye Olde Shoppe, to sell your goods at.
- A Bank that sells vaults for storage and exchanges money for sponges, which sell at the same rate they buy for.
- Purchasable properties within the jail to build a house on.
- A mob arena for fighting mobs for cash and training combat skill.

Rules:
- No cheating, hacking, client mods, etc.
- Respect the Warden and guards and their decisions.
- Weapons and armor will be taken away by guards if they see them. Axes are only allowed in the tree farm.
- No exploiting glitches. If you find one, report it for a cash/diamonds reward!
- Put the word "generic" in your whitelist application.
- Wardens and guards will never spawn items for you or teleport you, so never ask them to.
- No killing someone who just spawned or logged in.
- No killing someone once you have just spawned or signed in.
- No camping.
Guard specific rules:
- You may only take away a weapon or armor if you physically see it, no other reason.
- Your job is to keep the peace, so no doing the opposite.
- You are more like a moderator than an actual player, so no spending all of your time doing things like Mob Arena.
- You must wear diamond armor to signify who you are.
- Put the word "mechanism" in your guard application
- If a prisoner breaks a rule, send them to jail for as long as you think they deserve. Do not forget someone in jail.

Pokegeek 1201 should no longer be a guard. He is way too strict and does not follow the server rules at all. He makes this server less fun.
He has seen me kill one person and jailed me for it. According to the server rule, if a guard sees a murder, they are allowed to kill the killer. He jailed me. I am still in jail and he won't let me out. I am not the only one in jail for no good reason either.
UPDATE: He has decided that since I politely asked people to reply to my post that I am going to be in jail for longer. He is crazy with power. Please at least consider demoting him from guard status.
