Technically it's possible to bring back to it without mods just download an texture pack with the older versio of the beam and place the file in your resources pack w/ making it previously. I hope you like my tutorials
The beam I am looking for doesn't have a texture. It is rendered like lightning. It was removed due to transparency issues with water, but I personally think it looks worse now.
The picture above is what I want it be. It looked like this through snapshot 12w36. Then they changed it and added a texture to the beam.
Can anyone design a mod that brings back the old beacon beam? I don't care about the transparency issues. I simply want the lightning-looking beam back. Thanks to anyone who can help.
I don't know if this is a bug, but my item sorters don't work. The powered hoppers still pass items through as normal. If anyone could help me with this, that would be just great.
This may be a bit hard to understand but anyways...
Download mcedit (If you don't already have it)
select the villager and export it as a .shcematic file,
open the .schematic file with nbtedit,
look around until you find where his trade data is located,
delete all trades except the one you want him to have,
import the .schematic with mcedit and place it where you want the villager to be,
done!
I hope you can understand this, I made a custom trade villager for my adventure map, I found this page quite helpful.
I have already tried this. Every few times I make the trade, the game creates a new trade.
I am trying to make an adventure map with a custom villager. He only has 1 offer, and every time I try out the map, he gains a new offer when I make the trade. Does anyone know how to fix this? Preferrably with NBTedit but all options welcome.

I'm talking about the pure light beam, not the spaghetti one.
