Prime’s HD Textures increase the resolution of Minecraft’s textures while remaining as faithful to the vanilla aesthetic as possible. The resource pack comes in a variety of options all the way up to 512×512 with a selection of optional add-on packs to add a variety of unique features.
The Lite version of the pack (which includes a handful of blocks and items up to x256) can be downloaded for free!
The full version of the pack (which includes all the most recent blocks and items up to x512) is currently available to my Patreon Supporters.

CannonFoddr posted a message on Bottling your expPosted in: SuggestionsI've always liked the idea of 'Bottling your XP'
There's been times I've had a lot of XP & did something stupid & died losing it all - by bottling it up I could've save it before attempting suicidal events
My personal idea is a bit more simplistic...
1. To 'Bottle' your xp you just place a normal glass bottle onto an enchantment table & depending on the amount of Lapis you use determines how much XP is going to be stored in the bottle - as shown on each level.
The enchanted bottle of XP will have a 'glow' effect added to it to show its not a standard 'bottle of XP' & have a Name of 'Bottle of XP [xx]' to show how much is stored in it (where xx] is how many levels it holds)
2. The newly created enchanted 'bottle of XP' is broken just like any other type of Bottle of XP except instead of the normal vanilla low XP levels - it actually give you the number of lvl that were stored based on the Lapis you used
In my attachment it would cost you 1 Lapis to store 8 Levels, 2 Lapis to store 17 Levels & 3 Lapis to store 30 Levels -

Sikuju posted a message on Bottling your expPosted in: SuggestionsMy idea is to combine a chest and exp bottle surrounded by redstone. I have 2 ideas of how it would be consumed.
The storingRight click it in to the sky and it consumes all your exp. It would be red while full and would have a small red ring on the bottleneck.
First way to consume:
Throw it like a normal exp bottle. the flaw with this is that if someone stored like a 1000 levels the game would probably break.
The soulutions are:
1.making it a single big red exp orb
2.pray that it doesn't break the game.
Second way to consume:
Drinking it.
This wouldn't really feel like minecraft so that is the only downside i can think of.
Thanks if anyone read this and feel free to add your ideas to the thread.
Also sorry if my grammar is bad english is my second language.

c4lico_ posted a message on Worst update?Posted in: DiscussionLooking at the game from just standard, single player, survival I'd consider 1.9 to be one of the best updates, probably at least one of the top 5 for me. It added 2 insanely needed quality of life features and made the end somewhat useful

eiche_brutal posted a message on Glass CutterPosted in: SuggestionsWe all know and some of us hate the circumstance:
Glas blocks & panes can only be mined with silktouch but are not affectet to efficiancy (insert level).
I suggest adding a glass cutter craftet from diamonds. (maybe more materials)
The only use shall be to mine galss blocks & panes without silktouch.
The glass cutter should not be enchantable, instead instamine glass things.
Suggest a crafting reciepe, maybe add more materials then diamonds.
Vote if you like the idea or not.
And please criticise, why such a tool should not be added to minecraft. -

dsf_dsf posted a message on I think the trident can also have an enhanced version, and can add new ways to get iron in nether.Posted in: SuggestionsWelcome to vote this: https://www.reddit.com/r/minecraftsuggestions/comments/jhnlib/i_think_the_trident_can_also_have_an_enhanced/
Add a new block: Nether magnetite ore.
It is a kind of ore generated in nether, they are generated at any height in the form of ore vein. They are as common as nether gold ore.
Nether magnetite ore requires a pickaxe to be mined, in which case it drops nothing, itself or 1 nether magnetite. When mined without a pickaxe, it drops nothing. Nether magnetite ore has a 10% chance to drop a nether magnetite and 40% chance to drop nothing when mined with any pickaxe. If it does not drop nothing or nether magnetite , it drops itself as a block. If a nether magnetite ore is mined with a silk touch enchanted pickaxe, it always drops itself.
Fortune enchantment does not increase the amount dropped, but increases the chance of nether magnetite dropping and nothing. Fortune 1 increases the chance for this drop to 20%, the probability of not dropping anything is 47%; Fortune 2 increases the chance for this drop to 30%, the probability of not dropping anything is 54%; Fortune 3 increases the chance for this drop to 40%, the probability of not dropping anything is 60%.
Nether magnetite ore cannot be smelting in furnace and blast furnace.
Add a new item: Nether magnetite
They are dropped by nether magnetite ore, can be used to craft lodestone and smelting iron ingot.
Change the recipe of lodestone:
Nether magnetite can smelt iron ingots in furnace or blast furnace, but there is a 70% chance that nothing can be smelted.
Add a new item: Netherite cube
Is an item used to upgrade the trident in the smithing table.
Recipe: 4 netherite blocks + 4 ender marrow + 1 lodestone.
(About ender marrow, please browse https://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/minecraft-java-edition/suggestions/3040038-all-new-end-respawn-divice)
Add a new weapon: Abyssal trident
Is an upgraded version of trident. Its melee damage is 12 (attack speed is 1.1), and its ranged damage is 11, durability is 1525.
The difference with the trident is:
- If it passes through fire or lava when thrown out, it will set the entity on fire for 5 seconds when it hits the entity;
- If it is thrown into the void with loyalty's enchantment, it can still be returned to the player;
- They will not be destroyed by fire and lava.
If drowneds holds abyssal trident, they can use it normally like a trident.

It's tempting, but I just resist the urge by saving and quitting, or loading up a last save. If it helps you, copy your world file to a safe location before each time you log on, and if something bad happens during your playsession, you can always replace your failed world with the copy.

Contact the admins, but, it's an anarchy server, so don't expect much.

Looks like someone ported over Discord Moderators to Minecraft and placed them in command of a server.
i'M eXpErIeNcEd At MoDeRaTiNg DiScOrD sErVeRs So I sHoUlD hAvE mOd On MiNeCrAfT
Yeah, that's not going to work.
Your son should absolutely NOT play on this server ever again, (not that he can). This is absolutely not safe, and I would recommend you do a full reset of his computer right now, because there is no telling what that admin installed on your son's PC. Alternatively, scan with an antivirus.

This thread is from 2014... I do believe that this is necroposting, however cool it is.

Yeah. It makes it so that you have to visit every part of the game before progressing, much like a game with different levels, but without levels, at the same time.
1
Yes. Adding on to this train of thought, the mobs that spawn in/near generated structures when the structure is first generated do not despawn when you leave. If you leave without killing any of them, the same amount of mobs you left behind will be the same amount of mobs you return to. Bear that in mind when exploring.
Also, if you were wondering about Drowned spawn rates, the river biome has a much higher spawning rate than the ocean biomes, and allow for both aerial and underwater farms as well. Perfect if you want a trident, which is the likeliest reason that you're seeking out Drowned in the first place.

Interesting. Maybe it's because the devs at Mojang wanted the items to "lead you on your path". It's middlegame items advancing you towards the endgame. The thought process behind it when they first made it was probably, "Oh, the Nether's so boring and dangerous. Players will go only for the blaze rods, and never go again." The devs most likely wanted to circumvent this, by having the player visit the Nether in the middlegame to get blaze rods, and then revisit it again in the endgame to get ghast tears. Now, with the Nether update, the Nether is more interesting, with good loot. Players will actually want to visit it now. The crafting recipe for the eyes of ender have always been the same, so they probably didn't want to change it, as it was memorized by a lot of the community and would possibly cause an uproar as to why it was changed.

Hardened glass... Perhaps you should call it Tempered Glass? Just a suggestion. Also, yes, the glass shards would be very cool, but would be as useless as glowstone dust until you have enough of it to craft a whole block, because if you mine glass with an empty hand, it would drop shards, just like glowstone does when mined with a non-silk touch pick.

YESS! Glad to hear someone agrees with me on something. Enderium sounds cool as well. Maybe just Ender, for the ore name? Ender Armor and Ender tools. The armor teleportation is something that I would LOVE to see in the game though.

You could possibly make this "enderite" material the same rarity as netherite. However, there should definitely not be a 7th-tier weapon. 6 tiers is enough. Maybe, if you upgrade to netherite, you can't have enderite? There should be multiple 6th-tier weapons, like Netherite sword, and Enderite sword being on the same tier. The enderite sword could possibly have a special "dash" attack, that makes you dash forward in the direction you're facing in, doing 8 damage? The tradeoff would be that you could possibly get hurt by mobs while dashing, like zombies' contact attacks, and every time you dash, the sword loses 2 durability. Similar to how endermen escape by teleporting and moving quickly, enderite could give you similar buffs. Enderite armor could give you a little speed boost, similar to how netherite armor gives you knockback resistance and is impervious to lava and burning.
Just some of my thoughts on enderite.
