I'm currently trying to get the 6.4.1 build (for MC 164) working with my servers modpack. I'm getting an out of bounds error with item IDs above 4537. I know other mods in my setup use IDs above 4537, and the default configs for this mod use IDs above 4537.
Anyone have any suggestion for what the actual issue is?

thank you by the way for that video, next question is in your video i says to dowload the 10.12.2.1121 forge while in the front page says to download Forge 10.12.2.1147 .. am i better off with the 1121 or the 1147?
I take that back, the mod is built against version 10.13.0.1180. Use that version.
Quick question is the public server going to be updated to 1.7.10, 1.7.2 or not updated at all. Also loving the Barionix (sorry if I spelled that wrong) model!

Finally, we have a new Ice Age mob. Maybe add cave villagers? You know, like prehistoric villagers? Maybe those can be in the past dimension and found as DNA in frozen meat. Would be cool to trade them emeralds for frozen meat.
We've also had tiki warriors in the idea pool to go with the new temples.
Just wondering about this next coming update. Is it going to primarily be bug fixes? Or will content be added as well? Also if you need inspiration for some archeology related content, I recommend looking at some of the Dinotopia books. they have beautiful artwork and themes of ancient people/dinosaur societies. Keep up the great work! Breath deep, seek peace.
Elasmotherium and a temple structure. For sure there are interesting ideas there, for the most part I want to try keeping parallels to real world archaeological sites and finds first.
Is the next update (after this one, of course) be for 1.7.10 or is it going straight to 1.8?
As InsanityPie said, Forge 1.8 isn't out yet. I've started to update what I can to 1.8, but until there's a usable version of Fossils in 1.8 I'm sure I'll continue to push out builds for 1.7.10/2.
Sorry about that, this issue was more difficult for me than I thought. What I'll probably do at this point is just release it this weekend regardless if I fix it. The issue that I found was, if someone has a tamed dinosaur and logged off, their name would not display in the dinopedia. If they logged back on, it would appear again. Dinosaurs you tame will show you as owner because, well, you're logged in. So really, it mostly affects multiplayer.
I wanted to hold off on releasing this since not seeing a name under the owner field will probably be pretty confusing for some people since it might look like they weren't tamed dinosaurs.
Ok, so the update has been delayed until I get home from work today (so... 20ish hours from this post). Both 1.7.10 and 1.7.2 builds are nearly done. The delay is the result of a last second possible bug updating from 1.6.4. It could be nothing, it could be something, but I'd rather not take that chance now since it's late and I'm too tired to finish preparing the release anyways.
Someone wrote '5 hours' on the wiki 1 hour before I wrote this.
And mushroomsock. While you are online. How are your remodels going?
The wiki comments sections are probably the worst way possible to get any sort of factual news. If it's not announced on this thread by Tyranno or me, or by the @FossilsRevival twitter account; then take what you hear with a grain of salt.

It seems relics/bio-fossil dropped from the Fossil Blocks are assigning it incorrect metadata. This will be fixed next update, sorry about that!

1.7.10, when I find some free time.
You're using Minecraft 1.7.10, your Voxel Map mod is not compatible.
