I have a problem with the culture vat. Every time I've tried cultivating something, the object I'm cultivating gets deleted. I'm playing in 1/7/10, and here's the list of other mods I'm using. I'm assuming this problem comes from one of these mods since I was able go into another world with just this mod, and the cultivating process worked fine.
Orespawn
Randomite
RWBYcraft
Not Enough Items
Optifine
Treecapitator
Bibliocraft
Iron Chests
Better Furnaces
Metallurgy
Lucky Block
Damage Indicators
Enchanting Plus
More Swords
Backpacks
Roguelike Dungeons
If there is an incompatibility between these mods that somehow deletes items in the cultivator, please let me know.
We haven't ran into this issue yet. I know for sure NEI, Optifine, Treecapitator, Biblio, Damage Indicators have no issues with F/A; I'm not familiar enough with the other mods, though.
Hello everyone. The team has been hard at work this update; Alex has been doing incredible work making the AI system for the creatures in F/A better and easier to work with, along with adding some new attributes and behaviors. Many of the non dinosaurs will be more engaging as we bring them to parity with the dinosaurs. Even though this is mainly an AI update, Bluestreak and Raptorfarian have also revamped quite a few dinosaur models and textures.
We still don't have a release date for you guys, but know things are progressing nicely. As we get closer we'll have more to show.
For now here's this--even robots dream of dinosaurs.
4f, I was asking earlier if there was some way I could reverse the terrible item changes that occured in my world. You asked a few questions: I have the latest version of the mod; I didn't change anything beforehand (didn't download or delete a mod), and I didn't notice anything strange upon opening the world. What should I do?
I'm not sure, I've never seen this problem before. I was hoping something had changed with the world enough where Forge would've caught it and created a backup of the world before opening it. If it didn't, then I have no ideas what the issue was or how to reverse it. If you have the Forge log from when that happened you can send me a pastebin link and I can see if there's anything unusual.

Did they stop making updates for 1.7.2? I hate if if they did because I can only play 1.7.3 because of openGl (old computer). If you guys now of a 1.7.2 version of the newest update please tell me.
Unfortunately we did drop 1.7.2 in order to focus our time and energy forward.
ote from Jurassicpark25When I went into my world, all the modded items had switched id's to strange items and blocks I never had (no vanilla items had a problem). Is there any way to reverse this? I had so many eggs, dna's, and so many other things that I lost.I know this doesn't pertain to this mod nessisarily, but I was hoping someone could help.
What version are you using? Did you update or change anything before it happened? Did you get any warnings when you tried opening the world?
I'm not sure where to go to get help, but I figured here since this is the mod I'm trying to use. I have Forge installed, I can get forge up and running with no problems. The .jar for this mod is in the mods folder in the appdata/.minecraft folder, but its NOT showing up in the list of mods when I start up forge with the launcher. Can someone tell me how the heck to get this to run? all I wanna do is play with dinosaurs in minecraft and it's eluding me.
Just as a pre-measure, take a look at this imgur album I put together and make sure everything is in the right place.
http://imgur.com/a/YmIPM
What MC version/Forge version etc. are you running?
I love the new update! But I found a glitch on while playing on my friend's server. When I shift clicked an item into an analyzer, it doubled. It's a pretty minor bug but it would be nice to see fixed.
This will be fixed in an update being released within the next few hours.
In the first place, I wished to congratulate you on this magnificent update !
I came here because I recently install the new update (7.2) of the mod. Everything works but I have a graphical bug which concerns two blocks : Cultivator and Analyser.
As you can see on screenshots, they are tranparent and icons in the inventory are strange...
Screenshots :
If anyone got a idea about this bug and how to resolve it, I will be really happy
Thanks
I'm not sure what causes this, usually the cause was because the Forge version you're running isn't the same as the one the mod is built on (currently on Forge 1291, I think). Though the last time it was reported they were using the correct Forge version...
What version of Forge are you running, and are you using other mods?
Can I please have a detailed walkthrough of installation? I have a windows 8, is there anything else you need to know?
I threw this imgur album together a while ago, but you should get the gist of how to get everything set up using the vanilla launcher. The mod is currently running Forge 10.13.2.1291, higher versions should be ok.

@DMCareGaming
As of 7.2 all the feathers are on by default for those that have feathers. Otherwise you can toggle them OFF with the toggle_scales config.

We probably won't be adding riding to all dinosaurs.
