It's impossible, since it uses full block metadata (4 bits) and now only 1 bit is available for it, as 2 ones are taken by leaf type, and 1 is taken by this-block-is-player-placed flag.

OldDays has an option to make them look like on this screenshot (They are different since some 1.9pre), or to disable them, like in Alpha/Infdev/Indev.

Only when I update sounds. For example, for r13 you should download new one, as I added old creeper sounds. But for r11->r12 update you should not.
SPC should not conflict at all.
TMI (And also MoreCreative, which is better in my opinion ) conflicts with OldDays. It will work if installed after OldDays, but you will lose old item tooltips.

In olddays, when I have old chests turned on, the chest in storage mine carts are invisible , is that intended?
And in NBXlite, the clouds in the Infdev 4.20 generator are 12 bocks too high (layers 120-124 as opposed to 108-112),
And AGAIN in the Infdev 4.20 generator, no mater what, natural or not, leaves don't decay, which is very annoying because most of the trees are large trees .
If you can fix those, diamonds for you,

Another EDIT: Can you put in an option where you have the extra large chest glitch where you can place three chests next to each other when one is in water --> ?
