Sorry, I could have worded that better. These are interesting facts to know and I learned a fare bit reading them, but I just find it odd that you say you get angry over people not knowing these things, since they are barely mentioned at all in the recent games (also story and lore are 2 different things).

OT: One question I don't think anyone else is likely to ask: what actually are werewolves?

I don't think you should be angered by people not knowing this, though. Most of these are little known facts that don't have much effect on the actual games.

At OP. Though your friend can play a game how he wants, he can't say he's a big fan if he doesn't know the story.

Why is Skyrim one of the options? What does it have to do with MW3 and BF3?

I'm going to have to agree with the OP here.

I think the story should just be NPCs giving random quests that lead up to killing the enderdragon. The quests would mostly come from villagers, but maybe you could go to other structures and find a lone character there. These would of course be randomly generated.

There'd also be sidequests from villagers and various other mobs.

That sounds more like an elemental than a golem.

Meh, I'll wait for the PS4 and 720 to come about before choosing which console to buy.
