    Quote from Hahinky

Kholdstare that is disgusting. DO NOT eat zombie meat it's wierd, dangerous, and will make you sick. Really on our server we have a far away place for rotten meateaters. They aren't welcome around our cities, and I wish they'd just play another game. I figure theres always a chance that eating zombie meat will ruin you even in MC. Plz Khold before it's too late plant a garden, eat fresh.

Dumbest thing I've heard all day.

As for the OP, yeah, I don't really care but I can see other people do so I guess I'll support.

    Quote from KinglyNinja

Get off your butt and go get more?

Sorry but I don't like this idea of 'half an emerald' it's a little bit much for a trading system in a game like Minecraft.
    No support from me.

Disclaimer: Remember, these are my opinions. I am not stating them as facts.

Replace "kingly" in the image with "2323" and the crown with a 23. That is my opinion of this thread.

    1. NO. ATTACKING. ZOMBIE PIGMEN.
    Okay...
    2. Blood Diamond is a good idea, sort of. you should get it through some combo of lapis and redstone. :)
No. We're suggesting NETHER items here, not overworld ones.
3.Switch those... things out with the cute wittle zombie pigs and it makes this idea 65% better. I want a justification for not killing them, other then them being one of the cutest mobs in the game.
Why? Apart from the fact that you like pigmen (and that's hardly a good reason).

Good to see your back, Shgecko.
This is mainly for Adventure, Survival and CTM, but can be used on any type of map (though it's kinda' useless on indoor ones). If you really want to wow the player in terms of scale and world design, it is recommended you use a program such as worldpainter. This, however, is irrelevant if you're making an entirely indoor map, but if you want to do a truly impressive RPG or survival then, if your computer can handle it, terrain sculpting really can help.

I like this idea but they are still useless against iron golems seeing as they don't notice them.

Technically that makes sense seeing as zombies only care about eating living flesh (iron golems aren't alive, so zombies will disregard them).

    For parkour :

    DO
    - Use all sorts of parkour. With that, I mean come up with different things you have got to jump on, like cactus or netherrack on fire or ice.

    DON´T
    - Use parkour over lava in a cave system. This already has been done before.... like 1000 times!
    - Make a map that only lasts for about 10 minutes. Anyone can easily do something like that.

Also, if you use a puzzle/challenge that could likely kill you then it's best to have a way to store your items.

    Quote from TYTHERDGOON

I'm fine with the game but not with the Dev.
He is an arsehole who basically got really cocky and said that minecraft was crap because Fortresscraft is newer and minecraft is an old Relic.

Haven't done that much research on the subject have you? The dev already said (in this thread, I might add) that Minecraft easily beats Fortresscraft for gameplay and adventure, the only thing he thinks Fortresscraft does better is building (and obviously graphics.

    For survival:

    DO
-Make an interesting location, try to make it feel real and expansive so the player has to explore a bit.
-Make sure everything is do-able, if you don't know where certain resources are then chances are no-one else will either.

    DON'T
-Cheat by just finding an island in an ocean and placing a tree and some reeds. You may still use an island, but make it interesting, otherwise players may as well just find an island seed.

Revert Minecraft to the cave game test state. Everything added since then ruined it FOREVER.

    [sarcasm]

    Wrong, sir.

Brewing is not an RPG aspect. It is a form of crafting.

Minecraft "leveling" is not leveling in the sense of an RPG. You don't get more powerful or gain new abilities as you accrue levels. You use levels to craft things. Levels are a resource. If you're going to call them an RPG aspect, then diamonds are also RPG aspects.

    I gave you a +1 for that.
Anyone who thinks Minecraft has become an RPG clearly doesn't know what an RPG is.
