I've followed many guides on how to increase framerate in Minecraft, including using Game Booster, Defragging, Closing all other applications, etc. However, Minecraft still has FPS lag.
Specs:
Intel(R) Core 2 Duo T6400@2GHz
3gb RAM
138 gb space
It's a laptop, btw.
Oddly enough, when playing Minecraft and opening up Task Manager, both the CPU and RAM are not maxed out. In fact, both are almost below 50% usage. Is there any way to get Minecraft to use these extra resources?
Why do you think you would be a great addition to the Server? I am OCD lol. Also, I am kinda architecturally oriented, and I guess I have some creativity.

Second House
I would post my underwater palace and my treehouse, but my friend's server hasn't been reset yet.
Explain that creation you've made :biggrin.gif:
Uhh, it's a house.
What brought you to this server? (Google? Friend? Forum Skimming?)
Forum Skimming. And I want to play in an active SMP Server because my friends isn't that active.
What's your in-game name? 2012Dead
I'll post my other creations once my friend resets it.
Note: This only happens on SMP and I have the latest version of minecraft.
So I make a minecart rail, and I set my minecart down. Then, when I push the cart, it duplicates. One rolls down the track, and the other stays. The one that stays can be destroyed, but the minecart block thingy that comes from it can't be picked up. Also, the one that rolls down keeps going until it stops. When I try to mine that, it duplicates one again and one is destroyable, which I can pick up. But the other one sits there and starts to shake randomly. I can't do anything to it, and removing the blocks and rails under it won't help. I end up having to log out and in to remove the minecart. This makes it impossible to make a working minecart system. Does anyone else have this problem? And if so, do they know how to fix it?
I used the search tool, but was too lazy to search through 12+ pages. Uhh, I went through about 6 and didn't find anything about this, so yeah.
