I use Magical Crops, so i'm sitting here hoping installing this will give me an option to disable strawberries and lamb.
Crossing fingeeerrs...
/cries
At the minute there isn't a way to do that, but one of the things we're going to be working on in the next version is a proper config screen using the new Forge settings things they just added. Soon <3
Sorry for the thread being kinda dead this week guys, there's not really a lot to report, I've hit sort of a stumbling block with the new blocks cause I have no clue how to use the 3D model importer in Forge properly - could be an issue with the code, could be an issue with me sucking at using Blender3D. Either way, that in combination with searching for a real job like an actual adult, it's kinda sucking my motivation to work a little. Rest assured, an update will come eventually though, I appreciate the patience.
Can you increase configurability for this mod? I like to combine this with Lots of Food, since both this and that have features that I like. For example, your stove system is FRIGGIN' AMAZING... but, and please don't take this personally, I'm not really fond of Still Hungry's Barrel and Alcohol system compared to Lots of Food, and it was nice that in previous versions that I could disable it.
Speaking of Barrels... I hear that you intend to increase their utility for purposes besides merely alcohol fermentation. Is that true?
That's a very good point. I'll admit, the config options hadn't been exactly high on my priority list, but clearly there's a demand for them. I'll make sure to try to sort that out in the next version
And it might be true xD We'd like to add some new barrel functionality, but we haven't got any concrete plans yet.
An assortment of 5AM ramblings is now available on my new (work in progress) blog, including a little progress report on the next Still Hungry version! I'll continue to be active here on the forums of course, but I prefer writing more long form stuff on there because Minecraft Forum formatting is horrendous. Obviously I'll cross post anything relevant to the mod on here though
Aw, I'm dissapointed now
I can't wait the new version. Is it because Forge for 1.8 isn't released yet?
Nope, it's cause it isn't done, and it's a long way from being done. This is the most changes I'm going to make to the mod since we first made it, it's going to be some time till I can release it. I'm developing it on 1.7 regardless of if the new Forge comes out, will release for that first then port across to 1.8, that way people stuck on old versions of MC (FTB, for example) won't get left out.
I can't wait for the next update! But when it updates and you make it for 8.1, you should probably remove lamb now that there are mutton drops for sheep?
Hi sir! Will you still pprt this to pocket edition? Take your time if you will!
I don't know if I've not made it clear - it's literally not possible for us to port this unless Forge gets ported ): And the developers of Forge have said that's never going to happen, so unless they change their minds, it's not possible for this mod to get moved across to pocket. Sorry ):
A little bit of testing with AE mod, here's what I've found. The following was found on 1.7.10.
Vanilla things:
Hoppers with stove don't cause game to crash, but they just don't work. Barrel is okay.
You can't shift-rightclick items in the barrel.
You can't put more than 1 item in the barrel. The only way is using hoppers.
Applied Energistics stuff:
Buses don't work with stove/barrel.
ME Interface doesn't put items in stove/barrel.
Impossible to access the output stove/barrel slot.
I don't know, maybe I'm just so noob and suck at AE, but still
Hope you can fix the automation!
Next stop: Thaumcraft 4 Golems, MFR Autofarms.
Also, I want to try hard, play with Still Hungry and Hunger Overhaul mod (no bugs here, just would be fun)
Yeah, automation pretty much doesn't exist in the mod at the minute xD It's coming eventually, it was just something that I found too difficult to code when I originally made the stove/barrel. Time to take another crack at it, I think!
So I love this mod. I've posted here before letting the team know how much I adore what they've done with everything! That being said, I haven't played around with this mod, or any mods, for quite some time. I'm trying to install it on 1.7.2 along with the RPG Inventory mod. I've played the Still Hungry mod and RPG inventory mod together before in earlier versions, but now they unfortunately cause my game to crash when both installed.
The only other mod I have installed is Thaumcraft, but when I read the crash report, it doesn't mention anything about Thaumcraft being the problem. Any help here? If not, at least now you know that the two don't work together. Don't take this as me being angry and giving bad feedback, like I said above, I love this mod to pieces. It adds so much fun food into the game, and I personally love to cook both in reality and virtually. Which is why I wish I could get it to play nice with the RPG Inventory mod.
I'm running the two mods together right now and there doesn't seem to be any errors/crashes occurring. Could you post your crashlogs for me to take a look at? (also if you haven't tried already, I'd recommend making sure your Forge is fully updated, that's often the source of weird crashes)
You didn't notice my previous reply okay I'm crying
How do you think your mod will work with Applied Energistics? Lol because I think, export/import bus or/and some ME Interfaces with your barrels will cause my game to explode
I'm gonna test Still Hungry with some other mods and see how this will work. Good luck me
I don't think it'll make your game explode, but I'm not sure how well it'll work I don't think I set up the 'pulling items from other inventories' stuff very well. I'll have to bite the bullet and make it work better next version.

I'm not at my PC right now, but tomorrow I'll download that mod and try to take a look at what the problem is Hopefully it'll be fixable!

Does this link work for you? http://stillhungry.seventeencups.net/download/
Or alternatively, if that one doesn't do it, try the direct link to the .jar file here: http://stillhungry.seventeencups.net/download/stillhungry-1.7.2-2.1.1.jar
Hopefully one of those will help you out

Probably not unless someone does an unofficial x32 texture pack. Sorry!
Yes

Someday, maybe! A pasta maker item would be pretty cool.
Thanks for the kind words, welcome back

That'll happen, yeah
;D

There's no point, it's not coming out for a long time yet, the features aren't finalized, and if we want a trailer we'd rather do it ourselves.
We'll probably be adding pots and pans and stuff like that soon, once those are in I'm sure proper pasta will be one of the first additions
