Bloody not cool. Mikrusoft, you're destroying the amazing game that is Minecraft. The original PC edition that I've been playing since 2012 is getting dubbed the "Java Edition", and what's more hurting is that they are making it sound like it's become decrepit and will be unsupported soon. Yes, I don't bloody like Windows 10 Edition mainly due to inability to be modded unlike the PC Edition (which I will personally continue calling what Mikrusoft calls the 'Java Edition')
That's a blimmin' bad move on Mikrusoft's part, but on the other hand this is not surprising ever since Mojang sold itself to Mikrusoft, and we know all the schnitzels Mikrusoft does to anything they purchase. I'm disappointed in this move, and I demand a reform to bring Mojang back to independency.
Notch, where are you? Do you still like to see your awesome creation get blimmin' thrown into the graveyard by Mikrusoft? I certainly hope you feel like taking back what you did.
(mispelling of Microsoft is intentional)

I'm assuming this won't get updated to the minor-update 1.11.2...

Yeah, that literally happened.
Basically, what happened was that I was going to travel to another place for a few days to assist my father in repairing a friend's vehicle. I played a bit of Minecraft SP the hours before scheduled travel time, and saved my progress inside a stronghold. The position and location I saved in, I do not know if it matters or not. Anyways, around 3 days in, while I had some free time, I turned on my laptop and ran Minecraft on a slow Wi-Fi connection (I also do not know if this is also contributing to this issue), and lo and behold, my character's position and inventory was rolled back to a very old save point.
Since this is a modded client I highlighted the waypoint to my home (7000m away from my old savepoint, and I hate sprinting) and headed there, surprisingly my home and everything is still there, but player level, position, and inventory was rolled back. I was slightly disheartened as I was jack full of enchanted diamond tools and armor, but this is just a game, right?
I am still buggered as to what caused my player's position and inventory to be rolled back while the world itself is still saved at the current state before and after traveling. Can anyone explain what might have happened?

What have I done recently? Well, a few hours ago, I was playing Minecraft 1.10.2 to kill some time while waiting for my afternoon classes. I found the 2nd End City in my world and looted it of whatever it had. Got another elytra, a dragon head and a lot of items with unbelievable enchantments.
Teleported back to the Overworld and used some of the loot, put the rest in an Ender Chest. I ran back to the stronghold to ride my horse back home, but as I rode, the game started freezing and stuttering like mad. Under time pressure as it's almost time to leave home for university, I force shut down my laptop (Yes, I held the power button until it shut down) as CTRL + ALT + DELETE did not show up the security options so I can run Task Manager and force quit the game (don't know if it's Windows 10 not liking Minecraft or I was actually out of memory and system's also hanging, I have 4 GB RAM and 1.5 GB allocated to MC. I'm not complaining, I love Windows 10, not sarcastically, but seriously)
Came back after classes, started up Minecraft, world did not appear in my singleplayer world list. In layman's terms, my main world got corrupted, and I lost my inventory (ender chest inventory included, huehuehue). Grabbed an unofficial version of InvEdit for 1.9 and re-added what I wore and what enchantments they had...
Sad life. This is really teaching me to take the time to back up stuff in case of unexpected corruptions.

D'awww so sweet. My buddies are wanting to grab this over the realism. Thanks for the hotfix anyways, just wanted to point out that missing sound xDD

Nonononono I don't mind at all, I just wanted to know if it was intentional or not, that's all. Also, thanks for the hotfix
BTW The sounds for opening and closing an ender chest are the new default ones (since 1.9 ender chests have a new opening and closing sounds). This is also intentionally left out?

There already is a Improved First Person replacement called Realistic First Person Rendering. You might wanna check it out here

WOOHOO!!! This brings amazingness to a whole new level! It's almost like playing a completely new game with realism into it.
EDIT: I don't know what's going on, but I got SnowSong 2.0 for 1.10.2, and it still appears as incompatible (made for an older version). Also, when I attack, I don't hear any sweeping attack sounds with the sword, but all other sounds work fine...
EDIT 2: I hear the attack sounds somewhat, but they're really low-volumed or something. I still need to test further.
UPDATE: Yeah I hear the attack sounds, but they have a low volume, even at 100%. If this is intentional, fair enough.

No worries, I was just wondering what happened. About the skybox thing, it was just my ignorance and stupidity that it is only apparent in swamp biomes. Everything works out as it should, I was just looking after the better-detailed items from the 64x pack, lol

I laughed at the concept first, but when I took a shot, man it's like a blocky flight sim! I wonder if this mod packs a Cessna 172SP

I can't wait to hear the new whacking sounds when you attack with a sword! Excitement is real!!!

Hi!
First off, I've been a user of this resourcepack since 1.7.2, and I absolutely looove it! But, I do have a couple of problems. I visited js-legacy.net to check on the 64x version, and when I hit the 64x upgrade repos link, this is what I get:
The repo is either nonexistent, dead, or the link is wrong.
The other problem is, with your latest John Smith: Legacy 32x for 1.10, the skybox in daytime still looks like it's nighttime. I have OptiFine HD Ultra C2 for 1.10.2, and playing on Minecraft 1.10.2 with LiteLoader, OF and VoxelMap (like the minimap does anything, lol). I do not know if this is intentional, a bug, or something wrong with my downloaded resourcepack.
Other than that, this is all I have to say. I really appreciate the effort you put into this pack, and wish I could find a way to express my appreciation, xD.
Regards,
Kensta
UPDATE: Downloaded the x64 for 1.7 and ran it above the 32x and the skies are fixed for some reason.

I'm sure this is just a 1.10 thing, as I'm playing on 1.10.2 and my horse would occasionally disappear upon dismounting. I also tried using the new debug features such as F3 + T to reload resourcepacks and F3 + A to reload chunks, but they're not working.

Yeah something is wrong with Windows 10 x64 and Java 8u51 x64. I can't do squat while having a texture pack on (soundpacks are fine). One time it even BSOD'ed my Windows. Until Microsoft and Oracle uploads updates, we can't do anything about it.
On the bright side, I can confirm this works. On Windows 10 with a 128x resource pack and a 3D model pack.

EDIT: Starting most likely Wednesday, March 5 until Friday next week, March 13, I won't be on to help due to final exams coming up... School curriculums here are different than your usual curriculum in America...Gotta study, study and study...
