I've been waiting for one of these forever and as soon as i see this i break down. this is exactly why im mooving away from minecraft. The version shift is horrible for the modding community and most of my favorite mods are stuck in 1.7.10 and will never update or will go strait to 1.9....
there are also almost no reliable tech mods for 1.8 and vanilla is just not fun. other modded games donot have to deal with this crap!!! I and many others feel this way and it sucks because the only ones who can do anything are mojang(who are unresponsive) or the modders(collectively staying on one version...)
well this feels dead.. welp. people its time to give up hope. the years of waiting for a playable version of this have been wasted. we must look twords other things since this has turned out to be a fruitless venture. This will either be remembered as a failure throughout the modding community or forgotten to the sands of time.

So even though this would create more of a cubical, or spherical render distance around you, shadows will still appear in that distance even if the blocks causing those shadows could be thousands of blocks high? Thats a pain in the neck, maybe something can be changed with shadows and sunlight?
Btw, this would be really cool if it were compatible with tools like worldpainter or terraincontrol.

Wen I click save on me profile edit page nothing saves it just reloads and has the same stuff as before. I want to replace it with this: (url=http://goo.gl/zaqJvK)(img width='945' height='189')http://goo.gl/QUC62l(/img)(/url) with [] instead of () but it wont save.

I've been waiting for one of these forever and as soon as i see this i break down. this is exactly why im mooving away from minecraft. The version shift is horrible for the modding community and most of my favorite mods are stuck in 1.7.10 and will never update or will go strait to 1.9....
there are also almost no reliable tech mods for 1.8 and vanilla is just not fun. other modded games donot have to deal with this crap!!! I and many others feel this way and it sucks because the only ones who can do anything are mojang(who are unresponsive) or the modders(collectively staying on one version...)

well this feels dead.. welp. people its time to give up hope. the years of waiting for a playable version of this have been wasted. we must look twords other things since this has turned out to be a fruitless venture. This will either be remembered as a failure throughout the modding community or forgotten to the sands of time.
-It may even be time to lock the thread since there is nothing left but error reports that will go unsolved.
