As of the 1.9 update, my server is automatically putting anyone who dies into spectate mode. The server is completely vanilla and Im the only one that has Admin rights. Does anyone know why this is happening? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.
I look in amazement at alot of peoples huge builds and marvel at the accuracy that they are made. I have never come close to the success I've seen others achieve. How/where are people able to model large scale 3D images and then convert/build them in Minecraft?
My reason for asking is because I have just completed a guardian farm and now want to build a giant Octopus "guarding" it. Suggestions?
You think? Ive restarted the server multiple times and even removed player data for the effected players with no change. Is it something that I should reach out to the servers tech support?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions you all may have. I am the admin of a small server and as the title states, our spawn chunks work perfectly fine for most of the people on the server. But two people have one chunk in spawn that they can't do anything to. No digging, no placing of blocks, nothing. But they can see the chunk, walk on it, etc. (Its not missing) The rest of us have no issues.
Has anyone else experienced this and if so is there a way to resolve it?
Long story short, I was using a craftbukkit.jar when I started my server but it was creating some serious lag so I reverted to the 'default_server.jar'. All was well with the world until I got a chunk error in the nether in the middle of a massive project. I've downloaded the server FTP files to my computer using filezilla with no issue as I want to see what the issue is using MCEdit. But when opening the world up in single player mode the nether is loading as the old craftbukkit.jar version not the currently in use .jar. Does anyone know how to get that to change? Doe that even make any sense? Thanks for any help you can provide!
Really....not that I'm a sore sport or anything but that's kind of annoying. I wished it only did that for a few moments and then shut off. Anyways, thanks for the help guys.
I play on a Mac and the other day my game started to tell me everything I did as I was doing it? Has this happened to any of you and if so, how did you fix it?
...and well I'm asking, its going to be a small server only 5 or 6 players in it, what size plan should I be looking for that creates a reliable platform to play on? Thanks in advance for your help!
P.S. I hope this is the right place to be posting this.
Press f3 and write you x and y coordinates then kill yourself in the nether. If you haven't slept in the nether then you will automatically wake up in your bed in the over world. Then go back to the nether using your portal. Record your coordinates at the portal. Go to the coordinate where you died in the nether. Things don't de-spawn in the nether so you'll be able to collect all that you dropped. Better yet...make a chest if you have wood and put all you gear in it (Including armor...DON'T FORGET TO REMOVE YOU ARMOR!) That way you can guarantee that it will all be waiting for you.

How any villagers are there? There is a cap based on how "big" the village is. (Based on amount of doors)

I didn't know that you couldn't sleep in the nether. Nice to know. And thanks...that's what I do when ever I'm lost.

Hopefully you haven't slept in the nether...
