Other servers played on: I don't really have a list, I'm whitelisted on a few random servers but I don't really visit them very often mostly because they aren't what i expected when i asked to join (this server seems much better )

Why would you want to be on this server: this server sounds exactly like the type of MC server i'm interested in! some organization, structure, PVP within the limits of the rules, and TOWNS!!
I'd like to get in contact with the developers of Minecraft, or anyone dedicated to working with the security of the software...
I have heard that Notch is the person I'm to try to contact, however I can't seem to find his e-mail or contact info anywhere. if someone can please get me this it'd be greatly appreciated!
and no, I'm not some fanboy or some hater or whatever else who needs to spam...I have important information that I feel I need to relay to the devs and I can't find out how to do that...
Hello all. i should mention now i have looked everywhere on the forums, on mcsharp forums, and via google for an answer but couldnt find one...
the server I run is a public freebuild, and as such I want players to be able to build on the default map...however, I wanted to increase the default map's size values (increased the height mostly), and after doing this it changes the build permissions so that guests cannot build on it. this does not bode well for a public freebuild if you can imagine :tongue.gif:
what I am wondering is if I can either change the permission requirement on the map itself, or if there is a way of setting the default rank for new users (so that all users that join are considered Builders for example). Either one should fix my problem, however i can't seem to figure out how to do either.
Help is appreciated, thanks in advance! if there is another workaround to this I would be glad to hear it..
