2-4 gigs of RAM
1-2 gigs of Graphics Memory
I reccomend a minimum of an i5 processor but some i3's will do.
Hard Drive space shouldn't have to be high, you can have a cloud to your main computer or even an external hard drive will work.

How experienced are you with minecraft pvp: I have played minecraft pvp since it got possible due to the server-based health patch. I am good at sneaking, I know alot of tricks. I have been leading many clans and been part of many clans only on servers like this one. Vanilla smp.
Why do you want to join: I like this server, it got a nice atmosphere, nice set of rules and nice admins.
@04hockey
looool I started the trend with doing reviews. Mine was only some loose thoughts about the server smacked together with "1.7 minecraft" propaganda. Your review outshines mine, kudos to you for making it.
@Noxturno =( what you said makes me really sad, you should keep playing. Those who complain are total retards. (I have not seen their so called "evidence" yet so we dont really know if you admins abuse but as we have not seen any evidence, we shouldnt even argue about it). I would like it much better if you played among us Nox.
Thanks. I actually made the first server review but it was lost somewhere along the line.Lol Nox Whitelist me man.
Minecraft Server Review: Utopiancraft Hardcore PvP Ultimate Survival Test
Review by: 04hockey
Upon entering the server, there is a safe haven spawn, which doesn't allow players from the outside world to get in. This gives you some time to relax, get ready to set out, and gives you time to read the rules and tips. The rules are generally Vanilla Minecraft rules: none. Besides not hacking, that's basically all of the rules of the server. When you are ready, you can jump down onto the ground and be on your way. My only problem with the spawn is the height, some players mistakenly (or out of pure habit) will jump and are hurt upon contact with the ground. I hope the server adds water below the spawn, just to make sure new players get a full advantage on starting out.
When you first drop down, your in the middle of a desert biome, which is surrounded by some forest biomes, which can be reached in seconds. The landscape everywhere is pretty much barren of buildings and I find it very rare that you find another person walking around, so new players don't have to worry about getting killed by another player right away.
One thing unique to the server is death. Upon getting killed, not only will you lose all items/XP in your inventory, but you will also be banned for a couple of hours. This is great because players cannot simply walk back into battles and start killing, and it gives it a more realistic feeling because people are a lot more scared about dying and more aware while playing the game.
To help players get settled fast, or maybe they've lost items and need them back, there is an increased rate of all ores. Also another cool feature is that when someone mines any rare/expensive ore, it announces it to the whole server. This almost puts a 'bounty' on the player and encourages other players to hunt after other players, and really gets PvP involved.
Another amazing aspect is that strategies start to form in Minecraft PvP, PvE, and even building. For example; players aren't going to want other players to find their hideout, steal their goods, and destroy their homes. Thus, most of the players on the server tend to build underground or hidden bases. Also, players can use sneaking for a great advantage; it may slow down movement, but it reduces sound of movement and removes your nameplate above your head for other players. It's always fun the scare the **** out of someone by sneaking around trees inside a forest, giving them slight glimpses of your body every here and then.
The involvement of PvE in Minecraft is already important, but on a PvP server mobs are seen more as just a small obstacle than something of use. Well this server has a solution to the problem: Dungeons. Dungeons are just like Dungeons in many of the popular MMORPG's of today (WoW, Rift, Ect.). With large amounts of mobs, and great rewards, the Dungeon system can bring great use to players, however due to the difficulty, without max enchanted diamond armour, max enchanted diamond weapon and lots of healing and armor/damage potions, these dungeons are nearly impossible to do. This forces players to team up inside the Dungeon and fight their way through together. But there's some problems with this: PvP isn't disabled in the Dungeon. This brings players to some hard decisions, great rewards, or a loss of many items.
The Dungeon system brings out another aspect of the server: a player's reputation and honor. For example, if someone betrays a person in a Dungeon, word will most likely get around. Friends of the victim may become angry and try to kill the killer, or the killers friends may protect the killer, or perhaps go after the victim one more time. Now we start to see alliances between players starting to form. And with every alliance, there is a foe. People start to hate others down to the core, insult the players in chat, or harass the player with his/her strength or power. This is when the game gets interesting, you start to trust people, and you start to get seriously involved with PvP, Roleplay, and your enemies.
Server speed is great, not many connection problems. Also if someone tries to log in combat, an NPC is created of them and is able to be killed. If that NPC is killed, then the player is dead; losing his/her stuff, and being banned for the set amount of time.
Another awesome server hosted by Noxturno. Free-For-All fast-paced PvP and open world feeling make Vanilla Minecraft seem a lot more intense. I especially liked the fact that upon death, not only do you loose all of you items, but you aren't allowed on the server for 2 hours. That REALLY makes the PvP part useful, and players can truely gain powers and respect between everyone on the server. I also really like the fact that there are NO locked chests whatsoever, which is helpful if you've found someones town, you can almost 'raid' the town and steal and destroy whatever you please, and if you kill the players of the town, they can't just run back and attack again, which makes PvP very rewarding. Also, explosions, and TNT is enabled and allowed so make sure you fortify your houses! Overall a very fun server, which brings Vanilla Minecraft back from the dead and makes it fun again.

Avoid this server
This server has corrupt admin. I registered, they TP me somewhere and banned... all I got to see was they TPed me somewhere with water, an admin there is prolly staging stories and banning people randomly as they did to a friend that came in there too. If it was just a mod and not the server owner, dont be lazy and use hawkeye or any plugin, I never been to that spot till one of your pests TPed me there. There was no "free trial" before asking to apply to talk about. I didnt see any buildings, nothing.
In game name: Lorena and blackeyepea
Avoid this server
We do offer a free trial to everyone before applying, however due to greifing we have to limit permissions on demos. Also I have checked both our official forum and the MC Forum and I have never seen you or your friend apply, nor seen you ingame. Also, look on our dynamic map. There are TOWNS so I don't know how you could say there are no buildings. Also if you would have followed the directions and read the signs around you, you would know our server is still under-development.
